Northwest Refund Question

I finally booked NW for our June/July dates. Thanks to all of those who helped me through!!!

Question.....Does NW refund any money if rates go down. I thought I read somewhere that they do, but I also thought most airlines (except for SW) don't do this.

I did read the terms and conditions on the site, but it is a little confusing to me. I thought I read that you CAN, but that does not seem right to me....

We've used NWA for our last four bookings and have never had a fare decrease.
They do have something on there site about if you find a lower NW fare within a certain time frame (24 hours from booking) they will refund the difference.

If you purchased a refundable fare, yes. If you purchased a nonrefundable fare, looks like you get an electronic credit: http://www.nwa.com/kanaiq/nwaAAQ/index.html

This happened to me once. I got a refund MINUS a $25 fee per ticket.

That's why I fly SWA whenever I can. NO charges for changed flights and refunds available.
