northwest lower for October flight

I have been checking Northwest all week for fare's for a trip I just started putting together for October. They had been about 269.00 per adult October 14th-18th non stop out of DTW. I just checked and was able to book (2)adults DTW to MCO for that time period with a 10:15am departure from dtw for 373.40. If I had wanted a 7am flight I would have saved another 60.00 total. I was looking on NWA.com and found those travel dates in and out of Flint nonstop instead for 216 per person...dont know if this is an option but I see you live in Fenton. I just booked Sept for 196.00 out of FNT instead of DTW and I prefer nonstop rather than connecting. Just an idea...

Fnt is closer for us but we also only fly nonstop and I believe they only fly the first flight of the day non stop. My DD was also concerned about the size of the plane(small?). Fnt has improved greatly over the last couple of years and would be my first choice if I could get a larger plane and non stop time I prefered. Susan

True, the flight leaves FNT at 810am and gets to MCO at 11am and returns from MCO at 1130 and gets to FNT at around 2pm. I have flown to MCO many times from FNT and its a DC-9 that they fly and its a jet that holds 100people..I dont know if thats too small or not for you...either way or whatever airline you choose have a wonderful Disney vacation..I am looking foward to our trip in Sept!
