Just finished an update :)

It has been crazy busy the last few months at work. We can only hope it quiets down a bit.

I will try and update numbers as they change. Hmmmm Maybe I will put the totals at the bottom of the webpage. I will do that tomorrow :surfweb:

Snowing like crazy here in Middle Tennessee!!!!

It is very cold here in Northern Ohio. About 12 degrees and getting colder overnight. But we did have sun and blue skies today!

My brother and his new wife just moved 2 weeks ago to Gatlinburg because she could not stand the weather here and the cloudy days. :rotfl::rotfl:

I had to chuckle when I saw the weather there today.

It is pretty unusual here to have this much snow. We usually get a dusting and we are getting 6 or more with this storm.

We have some friends that were trying to get to Gatlinburg today. They were stuck in Chattanooga for two hours and only went two miles.:scared1: They finally decided to just find a motel there and not try to go any further. The rest of the family went on though.

Sorry for the delayed response....My cat 3 is #8078. Taking a wild guess since I dont have my paperwork in front of me.

A few pages back someone inquired about the Dover City/Castle tour. I found this information about 9-10 months ago and have not had a chance to confirm if it is still the same ....but Classic Omnibus offers tours that depart regularly from 830am to 5 pm from the cruise terminal for $5. They visit Market Square and Dover Castle then back to the ship.
www.opentopbus.co.uk

I will check into it over the weekend.

The tour bus only operates when a ship is docked at the cruise terminal. It travels from the dock to the a)town center (police station) b) Dover c)town center(Market Square) then returns to the back to the ship.
Typical hours are from 830- 5 pm

It sounds like the type of weather we drove to Florida in a few years ago.....well about 15 years ago, before we moved here. We took our lives in our hands driving in an ice storm through Illinois to get south and it got worse and worse.

I like to stay at the Chattanooga Choo Choo!

Hi Debbie, Hi TammyAlphabet, Hi Carol! Today is a dreary, rainy Florida day, but at least we don't have the 7 inches of snow that my son, Mike, got at Duke University!

Just got totally awesome news...

We're in the Roy Suite!!!!!!!:banana::banana::banana::banana:

TA called dad and said it was available and it wasn't too much more to upgrade from the Cat. 2 to the 1, so Roy Suite here we come!!!!

Congratulations we have only been and cat. 5 or 6 this time 6 and we love it so I cannot imagine what the suites are like!

Good Morning Cruisers!

Connie - we have done a cat 3 on points - they aren't listed, but if you call you can get the points and reservations.

4Boons - I think - if you are still organizing a stateroom tour, we have a secret porthole room on deck 5 we will offer for viewing - we will just need some notice as we will have been on the ship for the previous cruise, and it might really be a mess by then:rotfl:

I think we may spend some time today going over the St Petersburg excursions and travel book to decide what we would like to do.

Have a great day all!

Thanks Lynn. We will have a scheduled time and day for the tour. For most it is best to do the tour early in the cruise while their rooms are still in good order.

We now have a Cat 4 and a secret porthole room. Anyone else that is willing to let others see the layout of their room please let me know.

Laura spent last week in the Uk and will be in CA this week and Boston next week. Hopefully I will have time to work on a room tour list.

We decided to use DCL transport back to Heathrow on 1/24, we will be overnighting at a nearby hotel and then flying out on 6/25. Will cost a pinch more but save the hassle of getting to bus or train stop on both ends.
