Dearest Mrs Dazzle, I've received and considered your request for said husband and his likely chosen attire. Whilst I find it unlikely that wearing such an outfit would place him in harm's way in the North East as a whole, I feel compelled to point out that he may incur the verbal wrath and whispered tut tuts from the gathered Meeters as many previous threads have cast aspersions on those of us who consider footy shirts to be the height of sartorial elegance.

Meself and the kids will be goin to the Sunderland : Birmingham game at 12.30 on the Saturday so will be wearing the most stylish of red and white stripes anyway.

And if this was an attempt to ruffle me feathers after Arsenal's lucky win against the mighty Mackams yesterday , you can tell Daryll it's failed miserably. We're used to gettin beat by much more than that up here!

Aw Dave, Pet Darryl's that made up you're going to be wearing your footy shirts He bought himself and Katie one this Saturday ready for yesterday's game.

(Sorry about Dirty Old Man, ooh, sorry, Mr Reid - as a lifelong QPR fan, know ALL about him ). And I won't be wearing my QPR Shirt, either - cos I ain't got one (to that end I don't know many people that do ).

However, the only condition I made when said Arsenal shirts were purchased was THEY WILL NOT BE COMING ON HOLIDAY . . . we'll see.
