Northeasterns - Vacation Express ?

Theres a new discount airline that services the Northeast, Vacation Express (its affiliated with Pace Airlines) has anyone on these boards used them yet that would care to share the experience. I heard about Southeast but everyone keeps saying the planes are old, I'm not very comfortable with that. Can anyone comment on the Vacation Express planes? TIA

Service from Wilkes-Barre / Scranton PA to Orlando does not start until March. I am booked first week of May. I needed 3 tickets. got 2 at the cheapest rate of $158 roundtrip and one was $168 round trip

Thanks for your reply mryder, I didn't know they hadn't actually started to function yet in Wilkes Barre. Maybe you could let me know how it is when you travel? I'll be going in August. Thanks again.

I will post a report after my trip on Vacation Express. I read an article in the local paper that over 2000 people have booked trips to Orlando from Wilkes-Barre already up to Dec 31st. My suggestion would be don't wait to long as the discount rates are very limited. My trip is in May, I booked 2 weeks ago. 2 tickets were at the 158 round trip discount rate, the 3rd was up to 168. You can book online now from their website so I would check your dates.

Try southeast airlines (www.flyseal.com). They fly out of Allentown and offer cheaper fares also. Allentown may be closer for you.

mryder - did you hear back from Vacation Express. I booked for the third week of May. I faxed back paperwork (which was really weird looking on a poorly copied form) but heard nothing since. I guess I should call them to confirm our booking.

We just bought 3 tickets from Youngstown to Orlando/Sanford. Do any of you fly into this airport? I have never heard of it and I am not sure what transportation is avalable from there to WDW.

I called them back. They faxed me a copy of my intinerary showing that I paid in full.

I'll give them a call tomorrow. FYI, I checked their website and already the flights I booked have gone up in price to 198.00. So I guess we booked at the right time.

I just checked, my flights are up to $198 round trip too. They are taking booking all the way up until December. If anyone knows there dates, book early!
