Brrr.... Canadain air moving in this week, real cold by the middle of the week!

Son-in-law said it was "safe" for me to stay here at the lake for one more week.. (Was originally supposed to move back to their house this weekend..)

He better be right - or he's never going to hear the end of it..
It will be a loooooong 6 or 7 months of listening to me rag on him..

Since we are usually about 3-5 days ahead of you, it is 33°, VERY windy and off and on snow here in the Twin Cities metro area, MN. It is supposed to be nicer for Halloween here though.

I just wish it would wait until after Halloween!!! It is somuch more fun when everyone can be outside that night!

I drive up there every Sunday the new church we found is on Fox Hill Road and I have to cross the Batcherlerville bridge to get to my nephews house I am not looking forward to that drive in the snow.

We may miss some Sundays I fear

I am so excited for Halloween this year, I will actually be home in time to pass out candy. I am SOOOOO hoping the cold air can take a day off.

Ooooooo.. That Fox Hill Road is a steep one!! I wouldn't want to be driving on that road in the winter..

The bridge wouldn't bother me too much - but so many of the roads around these parts are extremely steep!! I've "heard" the town does a good job of keeping them pretty clean though - even my little side road here.. You'll have to let me know..

We are debating when to go to FL. It's getting cold and the thoughts of the beach and shorts again are making me itchy about leaving.

If it snows early (before Thanksgiving) we will stay longer and get some skiing in before leaving. If it doesn't, we will go to FL and fly back to ski for a couple weeks in January. We already have our midweek passes for Bretton Woods so it doesn't matter when we ski.

Ugh, no ARGH, I was hoping to have a harp shipped to us this week... I can go pick it up, but it'll cost an extra 230.00 I guess I'll have to pay (can't ship in less than 32 degree weather).... other than that, I say bring on a huge snow storm!!!
