I am looking for a boys denali fleece. Have looked around a bit on line for sales but not having much luck. This is for a 12 yo boy, so I am thinking I will need an XL? TIA for any suggestions!

I have had luck getting better deal doing a search such as this. Sometimes you luck out w/size you need. Got my daughter/age 11(girls size) a nice pink one this fall (retail $99) for $69, same for DS age 8 - his size did not fit though so had to return and get current color for the full $99.
Websites like: rock creek, moosejaw, backcountry outlet, rei, etc..........sell discontinued colors inventory for less - just luck out when they have your size. Good luck - I like the jackets for the kids as they are durable and have good zippers (which my DS always seemed to break on other fleeces).
If still too expensive always try EBAY.

And in case anyone is looking for their daughters, I bought DD the boys XL last year and it fits her great. It also took her months to figure out that it wasn't as tapered as the young women's style, and now that she is over that..., she's happier with the fuller fit. She wears a women's size 8 or M and the XL boys is perfect.
