So, who else lives in the North East and is tired of the weather we're having?

I live in NY and we've had percipitation everyday this June:scared1: and the temperature is rarely getting above 70:scared1: It doesnt feel like tomorrow is the first day of summer at all, it feels more like September or October

Its horrible.. There has been what.. rain the past 15 out of 20 days grrr

It's disgusting, so disgusting that I've been spending all my free time looking online for other places to live. No joke. I'm so over this weather. We didn't even open our pool this year, if it starts looking like it might get hot then maybe we'll open it but why spend all the money on chemicals and upkeep to not use it. It's been above 80 only a time or two and that was BEFORE June. Ugh.

Ok, I am heading to NY this week - I promise to bring some sunshine with you from the midwest...

I'm in Western New York state and it is crummy, crummy, crummy here. Our pool is not open yet either. Rain and more rain..and if it isn't raining the weather is cool. We have to keep draining the pool cover. The only good thing? No AC on yet so electric bill won't be as high as normal for June and because the weather is cooler even with the pool cover on the water is still clear. I peek once in a while and I can see right down to he bottom.

Summer is short enough here, I am more than ready for it.

I drove by a church today that had sign in front that said, "Come inside, our pews are dry" :rotfl2:

Our temps have been in the 90s every day with humidity in the 90s as well and heat index of 105-115. We haven't had rain in weeks. I'll take cool temps and precipitation. Let's trade.

"Tired of it" doesn't even begin to explain how I'm feeling about it.. If it doesn't stop raining here soon, I'll be able to throw a fishing line into the lake from my steps!! The lake just keeps rising higher and higher - it's raining right now, it's going to rain tomorrow, and the newest forecast shows rain for all of next week..

Several times it's been so damp and chilly in the morning, I've had to turn the heat on..

I'm not crazy about "hot and humid" either, but this is insane!! :headache:

Another poster here who is ready for a nervous breakdown. We also recently started 3 - 4 projects outside and they are never going to be finished. I had it. I want to see the sun for two days.

Very humid. I do put the air on. Pool is open but don't know why. We should have waited.

It was sunny here last Saturday, poured all day Sunday. Sunny Monday, poured Wednesday through Friday. It was supposed to rain again today, but it's been holding off.

I don't mind rain that much, though it is depressing when it goes on for days. We get enough gray skies from November-March, TYVM! The humidity is driving me nuts though, I have fans running because I just feel sticky. Not to mention my flat-ironed hair curls up.

After having a 5th grade picnic inside this week due to rain, I am more than ready for it to stop! Think 60 some odd kids playing dodge ball in the gym!!! :scared1:

It HAS to we have high school graduation on Tue night :thumbsup2 and my DD's wedding renewal :lovestruc on Sat...we are hoping to do the cermony outside...

Hopefully it has been long enough, the weather systems have to change!

I hope...:worship:

Me!! Our weather report has been giving a "pick of the week" - telling us what day might be sunny and warm! Our pool IS open, but it seems kind of a waste.

Who knew global warming would be so selective?

Another one that will trade with the northeast. It is still 98 and the heat index is 105. Tomorrow the high is suppose to be 100! I am already sick and tired of the heat.

Sigh..I am sorry. It is all our fault. We opened our pool for Memorial Day weekend. We have never done it that early before. So..blame DH!! :lmao:

Oh SEND US THE HEAT FLA................

The rain has got to go here in NE.
We had SOME SUN :) this morning and DH and I went out to walk for an hour or so, it was SO BEAUTIFUL....
then we returned home to "see" the Lovely 3' weeds all the rain has brought and the lovely green tint to our rear deck
and the Lovely Moss on the roof and
THEN
it started to RAIN again........ the WHOLE afternoon..:rotfl2:........THIS is summer???????
Atleast in the heat you can go inSide in air conditioning, in the rain...it is just DARK and DREARY, YUCK YUCK YUCK! I am SO OVER RAIN..............:rotfl:.

My son-in-law has been trying to reside their house for weeks now.. He quit smoking in April and so far hasn't returned to it, but this just might do him in.. Can you say "Cranky ???":eek::eek:

DD is about ready to clobber him.. :scared1: Poor guy can't even go out on the lake up here on the weekend and ride around on his jet ski to get rid of his tension because.......it rains every weekend - all weekend..:headache:
