North and South take on Disney!!!

Just home from a nice evening of Atlanta Rhythm Section and fireworks. Still wondering why they did it on the 3rd and not the 4th. The music would've been better if it were louder and little more current. I mean I didn't even know that ARS was still alive. Not to mention I only knew one of their songs...Champagne Jam. The fireworks were really nice. Of course they don't compare to Disney but then what does? I mean really.

We are offically 1 week...yes 1 week, 7 days, 1234567 days away from being in Disney World. :cool1::rotfl2: Holla!!!!:rotfl: We are staying close to home for the 4th and getting all that we don't need, next week, into suitcases.

I realized today that it costs soooooo much just to get ready to go on vacation. But with that said I think we are done shopping and ready to pack!!!

Thanks to those that are reading. More to come later.

xoxoxox:love:

Isn't it exciting to be ready to pack?! :cool1:

I've thought about starting to pack stuff I know we won't need until the trip now...and we're 75 days out! :rotfl: Yes. I know that's sad.

Glad you had a good 4th.

Can't wait for your next update...only a few left!

That's right it is getting closer and closer. We now have 6 days til we go to Disney. We took today and did nothing. We decided it was good to rest up before the week begins. Here's how the week looks now.
Monday-stop mail, finish washing and continue to pack.
Tuesday-hair cut

Wednesday-oil change and car wash
Thursday-double check list and suitcases, get movies for boys to watch in car and dinner with girlfriends.
Friday-double double check everything, pack car and go to bed early.

Saturday-leave about 8ish get to Disney about 4ish.
Let the fun begin!!!!!

Attention....We are now at DEFCON 5...We are 4 days away from taking the world by storm. Ran a few errands today and will do it again tomorrow. Pack in between.

More to report as it gets closer. Lookin' forward to writing the trip report. It should be very interesting!!!!

FOUR DAYS!!!

I am SO jealous! Wow. That's like...well, FOUR DAYS!

I know you guys are going to have a great time.

Can't wait to read your TR when you get back.

Thanks for continuing to read. Not much goin' on now...just waiting...and waiting...and waiting....and more waiting. Haircut tomorrow and more waiting. Why does it seem that the week before vacation lasts so long.:confused3

I am sure next week will fly by...but with lots of Pixie Dust!!!!:wizard:

It's hard to believe that our countdown chain only has 2 links. I can hardly stand it. We are finishing up all the little stuff and will be packing later today.

We are watching a Disney video about the making of Disney World. Andrew is in love with the Haunted Mansion.

Trip Report should be coming soon when we get back. With 20 of us it should be VERY interesting. Hope you will keep reading.

I will defintely keep reading. We're going to have 13-15 people for a lot of our days, so I'm interested to see how it works with a big group (I'm planning for lots of breaking off!).

I can't believe you leave in a about 36 hours...or less! That IS AWESOME! :cool1:

Hope you all have a GREAT time!

This time tomorrow we will be in Orlando!!!! Yea!!!! :thumbsup2 Everything is packed and ready to go. We have tickets, dinner res. numbers, and clothes packed. Just found out that the Space Shuttle is scheduled to take off tomorrow night. I looked at the schedule about a month ago and didn't see a launch. I am sooooo excited. I have always wanted to see this and hopefully I will get to. Our plan is to go to the house and unload then load up the kiddos and head to the Kennedy Space Center for the 7:39 launch. Everyone keep fingers crossed for good weather. :cool1:

Well I guess this is the last report for the PRE-Trip Report. Stay tuned for the Trip Report. :rotfl::woohoo::cool2::laughing::cheer2::cheer2:pirate:

What an awesome surprise! I lived in Florida most of my life and never saw a launch close up (though we did see a few far in the sky from the St. Pete/Clearwater area when we lived there). That will be so much fun.

Have a safe trip! Can't wait till you get back. :)
