Hi there everybody - well I have received about 25 or so envelopes to fill up with Key West goodies - I have decided to just take the ones that are sailing on the 8th of May so that they can be received in time for the sailing - I just don't have very much left that would be of help so that is why I decided to do it this way - they will be mailed from Key West on the 29th from the post office to make sure they have enough postage on them -
Also another tidbit or should I say warning - tee shirt shops in the 100 and 300 block of Duval Street have hit again - make sure WHEN YOU SIGN OR BEFORE YOU SIGN YOUR CREDIT CARD SLIP THAT YOU KNOW THE AMOUNT THAT YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO BE CHARGED - make sure that the amount is visable and not someone's finger over it so you won't see it - 2 cruisers were hit for over $1000.00 - luck as it that when they got back to their ship, looked at their slips and saw the amounts, got off, called the police and it was taken care of - one cruiser called her credit card company and found she had $579.99 charged to her account and she was suppose to have been charged $79.99 - these were the lucky ones -
Anyhow Norm and I will be heading home next Wednesday for Norm's 50th year out of school - lots of the kids we have grown up with, will be there so it is something we are looking forward to it - hope to do some scouting while there - any questions just drop me a note - meanwhile will post about what I find out while down there and bring back a bunch of goodies to share with you.
Hope everyone has a great week and will post more later.
As Always
Shirley
