Norcold dual voltage refrig/freezer

We are considering getting one of these and wondered if anyone has any experience with either the 75 or 100 lb models.

Howdy, Larry!

I've got one of these sitting in my garage at this very moment! We used it extensively when we full-timed for about 2 years. We'll be taking it with us in November so ntsammy5 has plenty of room for his brewski's! This model can be used as a freezer or as a refrigerator. If you use it for a fridge, you'll have to play around with the setting to make sure you don't freeze items.

It takes up a lot of room in a compartment & if that's where you are going to keep it, make sure you have a pull out tray in that compartment because you won't be able to open the lid otherwise. Also, it is easier to use if the compartment door swings open on a side hinge rather than opening upward (unless your hinge allows for the door to open upright flat against the side of your unit).

Like all 12V/120AC fridge's, it is far more efficient on the 120AC.

We will be using it as an adjunct to the freezer in the trailer and not as a frig. I hate to say it here, but were are not beer drinkers, maybe a glass of wine every so often ... so please don't hold that against me an I will still lobby for those premium beer tap sites. It is pricey but hey you only live once and being able to take the frozen stuff you want from home ... "PRICLESS"
