Noooo - Tarzan show cancelled for 2009!!

My DH is the "ride" fanatic and I am the "show" fanatic ... what will I do now!

I also adore the mickey's winter wonderland and will be gutted if they close that as well.

If Tarzan, Lion King and Mickey's Winter Wonderland are all stopped and no replacements then think this year might be our last!!!

Desparately trying to get to WDW ... do they not put on "whole" shows in the park, for example beauty and the beast?

Sadly the shows of WDW are no where near the quality of the DLP shows. For an alternative, you would need to visit Disneyland in California. But yep, with the closure of these two shows with no worthy replacements (remember when the awesome Mulan was replaced with the awful 10th anniversary show?). Sorry, after enduring Toon Circus and Carnival, forgive me if I am cynical.

We are spending a week at our villa in May. I suspect we may spend more time doing non Disney than DLP time, despite the fact our APs are still good.

Oh no I missed the beauty and the beast show .... was it any good.

I remember the Le Noel de Mickey and loved that show also.

It was quite good and better than the awful one in WDW. I always preferred the Mulan show that replaced it, and the Lion King Show. I also loved Roc Shoc which was the 1st show in Videopolis.

The Beauty and the Beast show I'm referring too was a little open-air show, performed at Belle's fountain near that mill-ride that never works.
No live-singing, but some dancing, it was really cute.

They also used to have a little Peter Pan show near the Pirate's ship in the summer time.

Oh yes I do remember that show, it was nice.

Never saw the peter pan show though!!!

That was just a small piece of streetmousephere. For a few years there was a big budget broadway style version in Videopolis. It was similar to the one at WDW but preferrable as far as I am concerned. I preferred Mulan when it came later on, but it was a good effort.

And of course there is the never built B&tB AA show that was planned for Fantasyland, that would have been cool, but we got Storybookland and a better Space Mountain instead!

I remember the B&B show, it was on when we went for Christmas and was very enjoyable and very Christmassy. Unfortunately we missed the little Peter Pan one, it finished the summer before our first visit.
