I had a quick NWR poll...but it could prove to be Disney related.

What are your pet's names? Are they named after anything?

Us:
Male cat- Pippin... we just fell in love with the name for him

Female cat- Tinkerbell... she's very small and has a devilish steak. We couldn't resist!

Female dog- Casey... Casey's foot long hot dogs She was named for Casey's corner

Hi ~

Male dog - "JAX" weimaraner/gray 6yrs old

Male dog - "Oxford" weimaraner/blue 2yrs. we adopted so we left his name the same

Male dog - "Zeus" 2 yrs- mixed suppose to be a big big dog but... 32pounds instead

and one female fat cat named "Bella" age unknown

and many many Alpacas...

Oh Fun, I love talking about my babies any chance I get.

Annie - 8 year old Cavalier King Charles. She was an orphan so we called her our Little Orphan Annie and the name stuck.

Kitty - 2 year old Dauch/Chihuahua mix. She had been living at a no-kill animal shelter for over a year, so we decided to keep the name they gave her.

1 year old Siberian husky named Wampa.. Named after the snow monster in Empire Strikes Back. I have yet to meet a single person who's caught the reference

I tried very very very hard to convince my husband that we should name one of our animals after a disney character but it didn't quite work....We have 4

Adult cat (his before we got married)- Trillian from Hitchhiker's Guide the Galaxy (one of our favorite books)

Young cat- Ferris (as in bueller b/c she gets intoa lot of trouble but you can't help but love her)

Dog- 10 mo pug- his name is Oliver (as in Oliver and Co!)

Rainbow boa constrictor- Rowan- My husband loves Mr Bean and Rowan Atkinson was also the voice of Zazu

Male German Shepard - 4 years old - His name is 'Chewy' because he chewed on everything in the truck on the way home from the pet store.

Male Beagle - 3 years old - 'Max', we adopted him when he was 1 so we kept the name they gave him.

Male Chiahuhau - 10 years old - 'Peppy', because he had so much energy when he was a puppy.

Sandy - Just passed away on June 2nd, 14 days from her 16th birthday

Sage - 8 years old. Named for his eyes!

Simba - 5 years old. His grandmother is Sage's sister from the same litter.

After we get married, we are hoping on getting a golden retriever that we will name Belle. Officially it will be Tinkerbell, but spelt BellE as in Beauty & the Beast. We also want a cat named Thumper.

I have a cute little kitty (1.5 years old)

Kickers- A light orange kitty with dark orage stripes
We named him Kickers because he stuck his nose into every pair of my shoes when I brought him home....that is a TON of shoes. We didn't like shoes for a name and Sneakers didn't sound right either.
Kickers works wonderfully for him!

He still insists on smelling every new pair of shoes I buy

Stitch- male 7month old Yorkie. Aptly named because he can be the cutest thing the world, but there's a little monster in him. Even made a Badness-Level dry erase board chart for him. And can't forget that he is indeed cute and fluffy!

I have a gorgeous golden cocker spaniel named Bertie. he is 7 and we have had him for 3 years. he loves to play hide & seek! If you tell him to go find '....' off he will go and find that person. We love him.

Buddy - 5 yo rescue basenji
Daisy - 7 yo retriever/setter mix (daddy's girl)
Sally - 7 yo rescue basenji.

I didn't get to choose any of the names! Buddy and Sally were adopted, so they kept their names.

Daisy was named because she kept eating the daisies in the garden!

Right now I just have one horse named Fractions, that is his registered Jockey Club name. I mainly call him Frackie

Our soon to be newest addition:

My Mom and I just picked him out yesterday. We will need to come up with a name for him. We plan on picking him up Thanksgiving weekend.

i have two cats named jay and silent bob. you can see a pic of them in my signature. they're 1 year old.

Male cat, Ziggy, he is a tabby and his stripes were zigging across him, thought it was a great name. Although people think he was named for Ziggy the cartoon guy. Not so.
He is quite the character. His favorite toy is a straw and he will steal them right from the glass you are drinking from if you aren't paying attention.

Mickey - rescued pit bull, 8-11 years old - named for his big ears!!

Rogue - 2 yr old American Bulldog - she's my champion show dog & just stunningly beautiful if you ask me - although I realize that beauty is in the eye of the beholder!! She's gonna have beautiful puppies in December and we are going to give them all Christmas names.

Draco - 10 month old American Bulldog - we should have named him Goofy though! aw:

My Fiance would have gotten it...he's a huge fan.

We also had a Siberian Husky, named Blue. We loved him to death, but. unfortunately he isn't with us anymore... They are amazing dogs. Give yours a big hug for me!

We now have two kitties:
Mishka (means baby mouse in Russian) a grey tabby I adopted from the shelter.

and Linus, who I found in a grocery store parking lot when he was about 3 weeks old...he was smaller than the palm of my hand!!! The name is fitting because he likes to drag around his favorite blanket.
