It turns out I probably won't be able to transfer for rides. Is there a list somewhere of the rides where you can and cannot transfer. Also, If I'm not going to transfer I figure a wheel chair will be required rather then the scooter I was considering? Any help would be appreciated.

Just found some of the info on the sticky above. A few of the rides I might like to ride state you need to transfer to an available wheel chair. Does this mean that these rides might have a wheel chair available if I'm in an ECV and can transfer too if I wish to ride the ride?

Yes, you’ve got it.
They shouid have wheelchairs available for the rides that are wheelchair accessible, but not ECV accessible. If all the wheelchairs are currently in use when you arrive, you may have to wait a few minutes for one to be returned.

When we go with my Dad, he does not transfer. He also does not like the feeling of being jostled in his chair (like the safari) - this might be an issue for you with hip surgery. Here is a list of the attractions I can think of that he enjoys participating in:

Magic Kingdom-
Adventures of Winnie the pooh, monsters laugh in, the train, mickeys philharmagic, Hall of Presidents, Riverboat, (i can't recall if he does the Jungle Cruise with us), Tikki Room.

Epcot-
The Land, Universe of Energy, Nemo, three Cabelleros, All the movies in the world showcase, and Innoventions, journey into imagination

Dis Hollywood
Most of the attractions are okay
Loves that TSM is not a transfer and as much as they whip you around- he always feels secure.

Animal Kingdom-
The shows, the trails but as for attractions, none that i can think of.
