o.k. we've seen charlie brown, rudolph and frostie. i can live through another airing of rugrat's christmas, even santa vs. the martians-but now the kids are watching "christmas comes to pac land-a pac man cristmas" and "baby smurfs first christmas". god bless cartoon network for rerunning these over and over and over, ensuring noone misses out on these "holiday must see classics" :rotfl2:

Its once again time for me to give a shout out to one of the most bizarre but greatest christmas specials ever; "Pee Wee's Christmas Special!"

i love that one too! i was thrilled when it and pee wee's playhouse were released on home video!

I would pay to watch the "Wacky wall walkers christmas" again.
I also loved the Jim Henson Christmas with the toy (a bear or rabbit, maybe) that tries to get rid of the doll (meteora)that the little girl will receive for X-mas.
Wow, there are a few I would love to see again.

i've got the jim hensen one on video-i think it's called "the christmas toy". i love the little mouse in it (the cat's catnip toy that all the other toys complain smells).

i hope you mean the original with boris karloff!

My son likes "Grandma got run over by a reindeer" and "the Christmas Dinosaur". I love the old fashioned ones, so I TiVO every one of them and force my family to watch them.

Watched the "Robbie" shows for the first time the other night. Boy were those weird. They gave the girl deer breasts... strange stuff.

yup, i bought mine at suncoast video at the mall. they can order it all year, but they carry it in stock this time of year.

i just set up the tivo to record "power puff girl christmas"-what can i say? it will keep the kids occupied for a while :rotfl:

i love  "meet me in st. louis". we have "white christmas" on video too, but i need to hunt around in my dvds for one i'de like to watch tonight. i bought some sets of old "red skelton" shows on sale at walmart-i know it has a couple of his christmas specials included.

Cartoon Network isn't showing the Smurfs or Pac Man here. :guilty:
I really look forward to the Flintstones and they are not on here either.

see, i always thought that cartoon network did the same stuff nationwide-but you're right-when we went on vacation back east the kids started watching all kinds of old shows on cartoon network that are never shown out here. i wish they would do a cartoon network east and west so we would get to see all of the old stuff out there (i don't think ours shows any of the old "my little pony" stuff which my dd would love since she plays with them).

Anyone remember Emmitt Otter's Jug-band Christmas????? I'm pretty sure it was a Jim Henson special as well.
