My ISP at home is high speed cable service. It sounds like the high speed in DVC resorts is DSL. Will I have any access problems or can I just bring my ethernet cable, plug in and go?

Your ethernet cable will work, there may be some settings to change but I'm sure there are instructions and tech support, from what I've read you may want to get a longer cable for convenience. Often things are advertised as "plug and play" with computers, but we call it "plug and pray"

Your ethernet cable will be fine. It is $9.95 per 24 hours.

If you sign on at 8:00 am Monday, your 24 hrs will be expired at 8:00 am Tuesday.

I just bought one at Staples and saw ehternet cables up to 50 ft long. I bought a 14 footer for about $15. However if you have the use for a wireless system at home this might be the way to go. Buy a D-Link router (or other brand) and a wireless card that slides into the slot on your laptop. Card costs $39 wireless router cost about $79. No more wires ever.
