NON passholder blackout days in June- which day to go?

If you had to go on either a Monday or Tuesday in late June (they are NOT blockout days), which one would you choose?

When do you have to decide by? It is possible that some entertainment may run on Monday but not Tuesday (and vice-versa), so you may want to figure that out. Unfortunately, Disney doesn't post their schedules until about 6 weeks or so in advance. Currently Aladdin is playing on Mondays and not Tuesdays but last June, my photos say it only played Thursday - Sunday.

I'm pretty sure that Billy Hill always plays Mondays (except when the stage was closed for a bit) and the Laughing Stock Company plays Tuesdays. Most people prefer Billy Hill, but a lot of people don't bother to see either.

For crowds, I'd guess Tuesday just because people taking a long weekend won't be in the parks on Tuesday. But (barring inclement weather) I would imagine the days would be quite comparable as far as crowds.

Honestly, both days are going to be pretty miserable.

Last year it was an absolute disaster on the last Monday/Tuesday black-outs in June. Disneyland had to close the gates both days.

How often does DL close due to crowds? We're still in the planning stages, and we're trying to decide on visiting either 6/21 (Mon) and 6/22 (Tues) or 7/5 and 7/6. We pretty much decided NOT on the July date. But none of those dates are blackouts.

Should we shoot for that last Monday and Tuesday in June, then, like the OP? We get that it will be crowded regardless, but I don't want to be in a situation where we've traveled all the way across the nation for an OC vacation, and we get slammed at DL. We can do that cheaper and easier in WDW!

What? The 4th of July (3-5) weekend is completely blocked for all APs except the AP that doesn't have blockouts ~ I'm fairly sure the 6th won't be awful.... As for closing due to crowds ~ not too often. If the OP is correct it was probably due to AP holders wanting to see Fantasmic before their blockout period started, but I'm not sure ?he's? correct. Sorry. I mistyped. Those were definitely blackouts, and I knew that when I wrote. I was trying to condense two things I wrote and messed up. The last Monday and Tuesday of June were not blackouts for the upper two levels of APs. That's our new goal.

We're definitely not going on the 5th and 6th of July.

I can plan a WDW trip in my sleep! This whole DLR stuff is soooooo different!
