Non-Park Picks

We are looking to see more of the world this trip and thus we wanted to take the time to eat out of the parks when possible. Where are the best places to eat with a family out of the parks? Why? We are on the DDP and we need 1 more table service and a few more counter service meals. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You didn't mention where you are staying or if you will have a rental car. Having a car makes resort dining (especially for late dinners) much more convenient. In any case, here are some of our picks:

You should check out the Wispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge. It is a great place for family dinning. Be sure to ask your server for Ketchup, and the large drinking glass, you will be pleasently surprised! the eals are very hearty and the entertainment is very interesting!

Thank you both. We do have a car and some open time to explore. We tried WCC, but we are unable to get ADR's. I am still trying!

Some of our favorite out of park 1TS include:

- kona (our #1)
- 1900 PF (character meal)
- Boma (AKL)
- Chef Mickey
- Yacht Club Galley (different than the steakhouse)

We don't usually travel to CS, but I have heard Captain Cooks at Poly is nice (an they offer some of their signature dishes). I have also heard Mara at AKL is nice. Wolfgang puck express in DTD is great. Earl of Sandwich down there is good too.
