If you don't have a park hopper and can you go to a 2nd park?
Does it take a 2nd day off your pass?

Reason I ask, it seems I can buy more days than I need for cheaper then adding the hopper. We will be there 6 days

Am I missing something?

You can only enter one park per day. If you try to "hop" with a 2nd day you will be stopped and asked to add park hopper to your ticket if you want to enter.

I always get a kick out of this question.

You've been kicked a lot.

OP, you haven't missed anything. In fact, you caught exactly why this is not possible: hoppers are more expensive than extra days (past a certain point).

Nope. Think of your park pass as buying you days in the park. You can only use one day at a time. In order to go from park to park you have to have a park hopper.
