We are spending Fourth of July week at an Orlando time share. We don't plan to visit any Disney parks-- we did those in May-- but I am looking for suggestions for things to do during the days (and evenings) at the Disney resorts. It will be me, DH, and DS3. We will actually be celebrating DS's third birthday while we are in Orlando, so any suggestions for birthday fun are also appreciated.

We have already planned the following:

We have an ADR for Chef Mickey on July 3 and plan to stay at CR to watch the Fourth fireworks if we can.

We will spend July 4 at Legoland, specifically hoping to see their Fourth fireworks.

We may spend another day at Legoland for the water parks and we will go to Sea World for a day.

We have an ADR at Saana on our last night and plan to see the animals at AKL.

We also would like to spend time at Ft. Wilderness, see Grand Floridian orchestra, rent a boat at DTD or the CR (maybe), and maybe see Yeehaw Bob.

What have you done in the resorts that's fun for a toddler? Thanks!

We did Saana with ODD when she was 2 and she loved it! We did lunch and had a giant bird hanging out tousled our window for a good bit of the meal, she was in awe :-)

We also did a non-park day. Breakfast at Kona (we love it!) then took the boat to Ft. wilderness. Dd enjoyed playing hula hoops, the playground, and visitng the horses in the barn. They also had a pony ride that she did and got a huge kick out of. I know they also do an evening campfire with Chip and Dale that I think we will try to check out this year.

You could also try the movies at the resorts, we haven't done them yet, but they are on our list. The boardwalk is fun at night and DD enjoyed watching the entertainers

Fort Wilderness is awesome. My kids love the playground, we go to the stables and see the horses, watch them get shoe-ed. There are pony rides, and our most favorite thing to do is grab a cold beverage from the bar or from the trading post and take it to the beach. My kids and DH play tetherball, I soak up the sun and the sounds of MK in the distance. THAT is my happy place.

We also enjoy the bar/beach/playground at Wilderness Lodge. It's so relaxing.

Fort Wilderness has pony rides (the ponies are TINY, they're fine for toddlers), playgrounds, and dinner shows. The bar is nice.

We are doing the Piarate fireworks cruise at the contemporary. If he likes pirates/Peter Pan it might be something to look into.
