Non MNSSHP FireWorks in MK on MNSSHP night?

**sorry if this is a double post, something went awry when trying to post the first, and the second time....**

We arrive at WDW on October 2, which is a MNSSHP night and of course, we want to visit MK with our DD (3) our first day. I originally wanted to make a PS for either CP or LTT...but then I realized if the park closes at 6 pm we are going to need to make a PS for like 4 pm in order to eat and see fireworks...and then of course I started wondering and wanted to make sure...they still have "normal" fireworks before/at park closing for non party attending guests on nights of the MNSSHP. Am I making any sense? lol My mind just goes round and round, lol.

And pardon my ignorance...but where is Chef Mickey's? I am aware it is at one of the Resorts...is it Contemporary? We are staying at Pop...is it a doable scenario to make ressies at Chef Mickey's our first night and then rely on resort trans to get to Pop? I am assuming we would return to the MK and await the Pop bus?

TIA a whole bunch....this is our first trip with DD and my and DH's first trip since our honeymoon in '98....when we didn't worry about planning anything This trip I am trying to simultaneously plan and keep a go with the flow attitude as well so I don't go all Clark Griswold on my fam.

I'm pretty sure that on party nights the only fireworks are the firework at 9:15p during the party.

Yes, you'd have to use the bus for MK to get the Chef Mickey's and back. It's at the Contemporary.

Well, it would seem to make sense in more ways than one...I am already wondering what exactly fireworks will look like just at sunset...I can't imagine them at 6pm. So glad I asked and my brain worked its way around to even think of it...otherwise we would have had one very dissapointed little girl (not to mention mom and dad too)

Now onto other plans then....

We've been doing MNSSHP for the last few years. On MNSSHP there are NO fireworks other than the ones during the party. Also, they don't let guests linger. They are pretty firm in getting day guests out at 6pm. Unlike regular nights where they let you linger in the shops and such.

LTT has been open for ADR's since MNSSHP tickets went on sale. It is a halloween dinner (same meal, characters are dressed in halloween garb). Same for Tony's being available early to make ADR's. CP will not be available until the 90 day marks. However MK dinner ADR's are hot commodities on MNSSHP.

Chef Mickey's is at the Contemporary. You can use internal Disney transportation to get to all the parks, hotels, and DTD from the Pop Century.
