Non MB tickets?

We have a trip this fall and staying off property. My husband and I will have our magic bands from this past spring to use but we will have a new adult guest with us that has never been.

For her ticket she gets one of those that look like a simple credit card basically right? Is there a hole in the card to attach to a lanyard or something? Are we able to punch a hole in it?

Trying to decide if we want to get her a band for her park ticket and FP.

You can easily get a lanyard that holds a clear plastic sleeve ("ID Holder") in which to put
the ticket.
The ticket will work at WDW from inside the clear sleeve.
(But, if you're going to buy an ID lanyard, for a reasonable amount more,
you could buy a MagicBand.)
