Non-expiring USF/IOA tickets

Hi,
I have heard about 2 and possibly 3 day tickets that don't expire, similar to Disney's non-expiring tickets. Does anyone know if these exist or if there are any available with more than 2 or 3 days, and where I might could buy these? It would be nice to be able to go a day or maybe 2 at a time and save unused days for later trips.

I had called the Universal Studios Ticket office and asked about these before and they said that all of their tickets expired, but then I saw on another site (not a Universal site) where you could get the 2 day tickets that did not expire.

Universal's own website (UniversalOrlando.com) offers the the two day non-expiration. When buying the 2 day ticket you have 3 options available:

"Choose 1 of the 3 online options:

KIDS FREE & THREE DAYS FREE
You can receive one kid’s ticket (ages 3-9) for FREE for every ticket purchased. And, you will also receive three (3) additional days for FREE, for a total of five (5) consecutive days of admission.

THREE ADDITIONAL DAYS FREE
You will receive three (3) additional days for FREE, for a total of five (5) consecutive days of admission.

NON-EXPIRING DAYS
After your first day, you can save the second unused day, which will ALWAYS be available for your next visit."

The only tickets that expire are those that offer free days such as the buy two days get the third day free or the Bonus Pass (buy 2 days/ get 3 days free) and also the tickets given by Timeshare called Star tickets and Adventure tickets. The timeshare tickets expire because they have the value of a one day ticket with the second day thrown in for free. Also Flex-tickets expire because they are 14 day tickets as do Stay and Play because they are 7 day tickets only (similar to the old Length of Stay tickets tha Dsiney offered).

Even with those tickets that expire, they only expire after you use the first day. If you don't use them, they will never expire. The regular 1 day, 2 day, and 3 day tickets do not expire even if you only use one day on them.


Rule of thumb, if a ticket has free days, it will expire at a certain time but only after you have used them.

Thanks so much for your responses! I was really hoping to hear that there were tickets with more than 3 days available that did not expire. We'd like to use one or two this year and two or three next year. We went last spring and used the 5 day bonus passes, which was a GREAT value, but we won't have that much time to spend at Universal on the next trip.

What are the dates of your two trips?

Are they less than 365 days apart?

If so, you could buy annual passes and use some days this trip and some days next year's trip so that you get two trips from the passes.

We're going this June, but we're not real sure about the next trip yet. We usually plan our trips for the week that the kids get out of school. It could possibly work with an annual pass, but it would be a pretty big chance to take. We might look at that option a little closer to time to go.

We also go to Orlando the same week every year. I figured if we bought an AP we could use it unlimited times the last 4 days of our vacation in year one, and the first four days in year two. It worked out to be quite economical--around $60/trip/person for those days if I remember correctly.
