I'm planning a trip with my parents for the second week in December. It's a fairly quick Wed-Mon trip. Our flight lands around 5pm on Wednesday and we think if we land on time that we'll try to head out to MK that night as its open to 12 with EMH (staying at Pop). Other than Saturday night it will be our only opportunity to go to the MK at night (no MVMCP this year).

My Mom has a 10 day non-expiring park hopper she plans on using this trip. On a trip a few years ago my parents got a comp one day, one park ticket from Disney. We are thinking we should use this ticket for my Mom on Wednesday night. We have park hopping plans for our other days and this way she will use 5 days of her 10 day ticket and have 5 days left (perfect for another trip).

My question is what to do about linking/prioritizing the ticket and FPs. I'm thinking it would be easiest and most full proof to make FPs using her 10 day ticket that is linked to MDE and not link the comp ticket. She can enter the park using the comp ticket and then use her MB to access the FPs on her MDE. Am I right in assuming using FPs wouldn't make her use a day off her 10 day ticket? Disney told her there would be no way to prioritize the tickets without visiting guest services when she arrives (I feel like you can do this in MDE but still not sure if I trust it).

On a separate note, I bought a 4 day park hopper from UCT thinking I was only joining them Thursday night- Monday. Well now due to a work trip I have the opportunity to meet them down there on Wednesday (arriving just 20mins later than their flight). I'll upgrade my ticket to a 6 day park hopper after I use the ticket to enter the park for the first time. BUT I can only make FPs for 4 days. With this schedule which days would you skip?:

Wednesday:
Arrive @ MCO at 5pm.
Go to MK for a couple rides, Wishes, MSEP, EMH

Thursday:
Work in the room til 3ish--- BOO
Meet the rentals at Epcot (They are going to AK for the day and have FPs booked)

Friday:
MK rope drop
FPs booked for SM, BTMRR, Jungle Cruise) 10am-1pm.
FOF
HS for Osborne Lights

Saturday:
AK or HS EMH
MK for Wishes, MSEP
Have evening FPs booked at MK (Got a Wishes FP for 3 of us but not my BF that joined the trip late... might have to drop it if I can't find him one, been looking for 2 weeks)

Sunday:
Epcot RD
FPs booked 12-3pm
CP Dinner Package
6:45pm CP show
HS for Osborne Lights and EMH

Monday:
HS RD
FPs booked for TSM (family favorite), TOT and ST

I'm thinking I should make FPs for Wednesday night, keep Saturdays, keep Sundays and Mondays (for TSM). I think with it being just me I could line up FPs for Friday morning at MK after I upgrade my pass Wednesday nights. Thoughts?

This is the easiest way to use the comp ticket and FPs^^^

When using her MB at the FP tapstiles, the FP system only accesses FP data and her ticket entitlements on the non-expiring ticket remain intact.
