I was wondering if I purchased a 10 day non-expiring ticket, if I could also use it at Disneyland. I know the old tickets you could use at DL. But does it still apply with the MYW tickets? Thanks for any help!

OK then ... proved wrong. I was going by the text on the back of the tickets. Silly me! :teeth:

:earsboy:

Yes you could use the old park hopper tickets from WDW at DL because they cost more money, DL would take them. But you could not use DL tickets at WDW because they expire and they are cheaper. We have used them before, so I know they did.

Greenmom is correct. You could use days from a WDW PH/PHP for admission to DL. It required a visit to Guest Relations at DL as they had to contact FL to verify the admissions on the tickets as DL is not connected to the WDW ATS computers. This perk was not available with unused WDW one park tickets or with Annual or Premium Annual passes.

I don't know what DL is allowing now with the new MYW tickets since there are so many variants of them. If I had to guess, I would say that you would still be able to do it only if you had a minimum of the park hopper option and the no expiration option attached to the MYW ticket. DL never allowed one day one park tickets before and I see no reason why they would allow them now. So that lets out a MYW Base and a MYW Plus Pack ticket.

Of course, this is just my opinion on this, not fact. I would suggest that you call DL Guest Relations (not WDW GR) and find out from them how and if they are doing it with the MYW tickets.

Be sure you post back here and let us know how you make out so we'll know for future reference.

Well, I called Disneyland Guest Relations.

The conversation went something like this:

"Disneyland Guest Relations, may I help you?"

"I have some days leftover on a Disney World Magic Your Way ticket. Will I be able to use those for Disneyland admission?"

"You mean a Hopper Pass. Yes, we take those."

"Well, I know you take the Hopper passes, but Disney World changed it's ticketing to Magic Your Way and I was wondering if you'll take those."

"Well, I don't know what this 'Magic Way' is, but we take unused Disney World admission. I can't guarantee it over the phone, because if we have a question we call Florida and ask them."

"Thank you for your help."

"Thank you for calling Disneyland."

I don't think that answers any questions (except whether or not Hoppers are acceptable admission to Disneyland ;) ) so if you'd like to try for yourself, Disneyland's Guest Relations number is 1-714-781-7290.

When I bought my MYW tickets at a Disney Store they told me that my tickets cannot be used at DL. The ticket system is new to everyone, so I'm not surprised that you will get different answers from Disney employees. The whole system was new to the manager who was helping us, so perhaps she has the wrong information. :confused3 My ticket says that it is good for the 4 parks at WDW, and there is no mention of DL, either allowing or restricting use there.

Thank you to all who answered! I guess I'll just go ahead and buy a 10 day and use the days I need at WDW, then I'll just take them to DL with us and see what they say. The worse thing that could happen is that I'll just have to go back to WDW! Sorry I won't be able to post right away. It will probably be over a 2 year period!
