Non driving Virgins

Has anyone flown with Virgin lately and opted to take their bus? If so, do they still send their own bus or do you now hitch a ride with the DME?

we used the Virgin transfers in september and they used a mears bus(not the ME bus) and driver to the hotel. on the way home it was a ME bus.

My parents were there in the Summer and it was a Mears bus for them too. It was on the return to the airport as well.

Mears bus for us also - and we had to wait an hour and half for 6 people...don't quite know what took them so long??? In the future i will order a taxi - i think the transfer costs about $50 to a Disney hotel.

If you are staying in a Disney hotel the DME is very quick and easy to use. You just check in at their desk at the airport, go outside to catch the bus and hey presto before you know it you are at the hotel. They pushed an envelope through our door the day before to let us know what time they were going to pick us up for the return journey.

Is DME something you can do easily from the UK

Ours was booked with the holiday through the TA but I still contacted Disney myself, return e-mail said documentation would turn up 45 days prior to travelling - it didn't. I may have confused the system with already being booked in with the TA's! Phoning them may work better.
