Hi everyone,

Resting my weary bones at Hojo's after my two day introduction to Disneyland. Holy moly!

Got a late afternoon flight tomorrow, and no car and can't swing another days DL ticket, so pondering things to do. Just me, DW and DS5.

Anything to do nearby! Putt putt golf? Arcades?

Thanks for a little more of your accumulated wisdom. You guys helped me so much in planning a successful first trip for the family,

Best, Peter

Hi! I have a 5 year old too. A few things not far from you is the Garden Walk mall just off of Harbor and Katella ( movie theatre and bowling alley not much shopping). There's the theatre in downtown disney. There are a ton of kid movies playing now. If you take a taxi or shuttle there's a mother mall called I The Block on city drive with lots of food and shopping outdoors and a bowling alley. The Fairfield inn next door to you has an Arcade. Also if you take a taxi there's a children type museum not too far. Hope this helps!

The ESPN Zone in DtD has an arcade upstairs. Our boys loved spending time there. The Lego Store might be fun if you haven't already been there. There is a TV corner in the lobby of the GCH -- our boys liked having some "resting time" there -- we just love the atmosphere and decor of that lobby! Have you been inside Ridemakerz in DtD? Again, young boys seem to really enjoy that store. :) So glad to hear that your trip was a success.

I'd spend the day at the pool / water park at HoJos. I'm not sure if they let you use the facilities after check out, but the weather should be perfect to hang out there most of the day before your flight. Maybe lunch somewhere in DTD or even Mimis.

HoJos building one has an arcade.

I wouldn't over do it

Hope you enjoyed your last day. We leave after lunch too so wont visit the parks. We'll have brunch at Storytellers and let each child choose their one souvenir from World of Disney.
