Non-disney 'apartment'....

Well, we've decided against a disney hotel and have again looked at the Davy Crockett ranch. We've priced this up and due to it being on special off it is only £586 for a 4 night stay in April (2 bed cabin).

So....now that we have decided to hire a car before we go ahead and book, could anyone recommend any alternative self catering accomodation, perhaps 2 bedroomed within easy driving distance of the parks - 15/20 mins max..... or should we just stick with the disney cabin??

Your thoughts would be appreciated!

Other options for self catering would be Marriott Village d'Ile-de-France or Pierre et Vacances. There is links in the hotel faq and a look through the trip reports will find a few reviews.

I am smitten with Marriott Village d'Ile-de-France and we can get a 35% discount for our dates

So a couple more questions......

How far is it from Disney???

And where is the best place to buy park tickets now that we are not intending to stay at a disney property???

Hi-

We are coming from the US and also staying at Marriott. I emailed them directly and they have been most helpful with all my questions! I was told that they run a shuttle bus to the train station, which is at the park gates, I believe. You can also take the local busses to DLP right from the front of the resort.
