Hi everyone,

Looks as if I am going to have a couple of days free in Wichita, KS in a week or so. Is there anything in particular that is worth shooting nearby?

Apologies for the non-Disney content; I don't know of many other places where lots of American photographers hang out :)

regards,

Here is a link to the Wichita web site:

There are several items that you can spend time doing and some fun photo ops. There is some public art and several other links you can research.

If you get really board and have time, head to Kansas City and go to the Plaza. There are lots of greats photo ops there.

Safe travels!

You might enjoy Exploration Place, especially if you will have kids in tow (it's a sort of hands on children's museum). If not, the building's architecture and location on the 'river' should provide some interesting possibilities.

I don't know that much about Wichita, though we've been a couple times to visit extended family.

Thank you :)

I'm on my own, but will certainly investigate the links
