We have our trip planned for March 2017 and this will be our first time using the DDP. I've checked disney restaurants and found buffet/family style and it shows $$($15- $34.99 per adult) - $$$($35- $59.99 per adult) so which is it? My question is, which park restaurants offer a buffet without using 2 table service credits? Can anyone help me...help me...help me? Sorry couldn't resist.

in-park buffets without characters:
  • Biergarten
  • Liberty Tree Tavern (dinner is all you care to eat, not a true buffet)
That is, I believe, about it. All other in-park buffets have characters.

Resorts with non-character buffets are The Wave and Captain's Grill for breakfast, Boma and Trail's End for breakfast and dinner, and Cape May and Ohana for dinner. (Ohana is family style, again not true buffet.)

There is a thread with actual prices for buffets at the top of the RESTAURANTS board.

The only buffets that require 2 credits are Cinderella's Royal Table, Hoop de doo Review, and Spirit of Aloha. All other character buffets, family style are 1 TS credit. As for pricing, if you look at the top of the restaurant board, there is a sticky with Buffet pricing. It is kept up to date by a CM. Have fun!

Also Mickey's Backyard BBQ is 2 credits.

Thanks, y'all. There is conflicting information on the Disney website. When you click on the link to view the Disney Dining Plan for 2017, it shows that character dining is 2 table credits but when you view each restaurant seperately and click on "some dining plans excepted" it shows 1 table credit. That's really confusing :(

If you look closely, that 2 TS credits is in a purply color, then when you look through the restaurants, you'll see that purple color next to the restaurants that require the 2 credits.

Thank you, sharonabe. I think I'll be busy tomorrow, re-doing my dinner reservations :)

The first set of prices is probably breakfast, maybe lunch.
The second set of prices is dinner.
The lowest price in each is children.
The highest price is each is adults.
There may also be a variation of price if it's a holiday or peak time.
