Well, I had foot surgery in November, and the surgeon told me our tour of Uxmal would be too much walking. So now we’re looking at other options that might allow a few more opportunities to sit and rest. I can walk, just not the 1.5-2 miles a tour of Mayan ruins would require. We’re not interested in beaches.

Has anyone taken the Cozumel City Tour by Trolley (CZ101)? Or, from Progreso, the Merida City Tour and Shopping (PGO15) or the Scenic Photo Tour and Foodie Experience (PGO19)?

:thanks:

If you enjoy making and eating food, I would recommend the following DCL excursion in Cozumel. Even though it is held at Playa Mia resort, it is not a “beach day” as most of your time is spent doing the cooking class and then eating the prepared meal.

Mexican Cooking Class and Tasting | Disney Cruise Line (go.com)

It is definitely one of our all time favourite excursions (we have done it twice). Very little walking is involved, so you would not have to worry about your foot.

I second this! We enjoyed this excursion very much and would do again in a heartbeat.
