I have been browsing the menus of the TS restaurants that are not all-you-can-eat, out of curiosity. Mainly because when we went on our 5-night trip in July, all our TS meals were AYCE (most were character meals, with Boma and Biergarten thrown into the mix). When we go in July 2010 (YES, 2010!!), we are going to stay for 10 nights at BWV as DVC members. I would like to try some low-key, regular TS restaurants without having to get up for a buffet or eat family-style.
So as I said, I started browsing the menus. All of the restaurants seem to serve the same basic things, with some differences like the sauces or spices used. I keep seeing prime rib, chicken breast, beef fillet, salmon, etc. Prices seem to be the same as well. So, is it worth it to go to several of these places, or just try one or two because we will tire of it? Here are the ones I noticed that I thought we would like:
1. Spoodles
2. Captain's Grille
3. The Wave
4. Maya Grill
Would we feel like we were eating the same old food if we dined at all of these, or even at two of them? Or just choose one? The two I really would like to try are Spoodles and Captain's Grille because of their close proximity to BWV. The other 2 are maybe's.
