Non-alcoholic beer

I have a question that I haven't seen answered on the posts -- does the Wonder have non-alcoholic beer on board?

I'm always the designated driver and as such I have developed a liking for O'Doul's and Cutters non- alcoholic beers. I know that I won't be driving the ship, but I'd still like to have my favorite beer in the clubs.

Does anyone know the answer?

On another topic entirely unrelated - has anyone read the contract in the travel documents, specifically clause 18 re the seaworthiness of the vessel and edibility of the food?

LOL!! I had my documents in front of me when I read your post intending to read them tonight and had to look. Guess we all better be looking for holes before we board and order our food with caution. I love the wording in contracts. They always make for an interesting read.

I know that they have Sharp's non-alcoholic beer onboard. I didn't ask for another brand, that was fine with me.

I'll have to read the cruise contract and especially that clause number 18. I hate reading 'legalized' documents, hard to understand where I really stand sometimes.

Yes, lawyers are a breed unto themselves and I can say that with full knowledge because I've been a legal secretary for 32 years. It is funny to see the things that they come up with.

Sharps beer is fine as long as it's non-alcoholic.

How can they say they don't warrant the fitness, condition, or seaworthiness of the vessel and they also don't warrant the fitness, condition, or merchantability of the food and drink provided on board the vessel?

Clause number 19 is good also, it seems to say 'nothing else is our fault unless our guys are doing the job we told them to do'.

Maybe I'll understand them better when I read it several more times.

Having worked for attorneys all these years, one thing I've learned is that "they" put all this stuff in as "disclaimers" etc, and on average about 90% of it is unenforceable in a court of law.

I'm guessing it's to dissuade the most sue crazy people from suing for the least little thing.

Besides, I comfort myself with the fact that the Wonder has only been sailing for 4 years, long enough to get the initial "bugs" worked out and not long enough to have incurred any serious damage.

That's my rationale anyway. I'm terrified of the water and that's how I get through it.
