Can you order appetizer off of the Tiffins menu?

They have a couple of items that are on the Tiffins menu (the bread service and the cheese plate), but otherwise they have different items on the lounge menu

I don't know exactly. But the Nomad Lounge has a really nice appetizer menu

Nomad was great, we'll always make it back if we're in AK.

As for that particular Tiffin's appetizer, if it makes you feel any better, 4 out of the 6 people who I went to Tiffin's with last including myself got the octopus (per the gushing recommendation of our server) and none of us liked it, it just tasted like sour salty brine between the amount of unadvertised green (definitely not caper "berries") and what looked like kalamata olives in addition to the capers they put on it as part of the "caper olive oil", you couldn't taste the octopus at all. The pieces of octopus themselves were inconsistently charred, some people got octopus charcoal others were barely grilled at all.

We were able to ask our waitress at Nomad Lounge if we could get the soup from Tiffins, even though it wasn't on the lounge menu, and she was able to accommodate that request. It doesn't hurt to ask, but realize it may not be possible for whatever reason.

I'm going to agree with Steg. The octopus was unimpressive and not worth the price imo. I've been more satisfied with the Nomad Lounge menu and wished that was offered in the restaurant.
