My wife and I are beginning to plan our dining options for this November's trip. My wife is interested in our sharing a few of the small plate options for lunch. How crowded is it during lunch? Is it walk-up only or do you need an adr for lunch? How's the food? What are the views from the porch area? All help is greatly appreciated.

Nomad lounge is walk up only. Crowd level varies. But even on crowded days, we’ve been able to get seats within 10 minutes tops. Usually far less. Food is very good, although there are limited choices and they change some of them every few months. Servers are super friendly and accommodating (e.g., good with our food allergies and answering questions).

We like inside because it always seems too hot for us outside. Outside looks over the bridge-walkway that leads to Pandora. Trees and water, or a particularly spectacular view. But the outside area is very nice. Comfortable and casual furniture inside and outside.

There is a full bar, but the specialty drinks are interesting and fun.

I'd suggest going earlier in the day to avoid the crowds. Before Pandora opened Nomad's used to be pretty empty and was one of our favorite spots in all the parks. We still enjoy it, but the secret is unquestionable out. We've sat both inside and outside and either are great options. If its not too hot we prefer outside, largely because outdoor seating is a rarity in Disney.

The food we've had here has already been good, but the positions are generally small. If you're planning on sharing some food as a meal you'll likely need 3 if not 4 items to fill you up.

And be sure not to miss the drinks!!! Best on property in my opinion.

We've gone to Nomad four times and have never had an issue finding seats and a table with our party of 2 or 3. The food is good, the drinks are fantastic and you can also order off of the Tiffins menu if you are interested. We prefer sitting inside for the AC and the ambience.

It is walk up only as others have mentioned. If you are trying to sit around noon, you may have a wait. If you go earlier or later, usually minimal, if any wait. If its really hot outside, the inside is very nice. When we are there in the fall, we love sitting outside with the water view.
