Lots of questions but thought I'd combine instead of making 4 separate threads....:) This trip is just DH and myself celebrating our 25th anniversary.

DH and I will be having breakfast at Tusker Lounge on our AK day. Wondering in the evening if you would choose Yak & Yeti or Nomad Lounge for a light dinner?

On Our MK day would you choose BoG for a late breakfast or Jungle Navigation Skipper Canteen (man thats a long name) for an early lunch? Neither menu rocks my world; Jungle's menu looks better than BoG but I want to see BoG. There are no BoG lunch times available. I will keep checking. If BoG lunch becomes available, then BoG or Jungle? If neither than other thoughts?

Lastly on our check out day we are trying to decide between Boma at 10:55 (staying at Kidani) or Homecomin' in Disney Springs at noon. We have been to Boma and before have Jiko booked and may have wine and bread service at Sanaa at some point during our stay. We also have Wine Wednesday booked at Jiko.

Lastly we both enjoy Italian. Would you choose Il Mulino or Trattoria al Forno for dinner? We typical share a pasta as an app, a salad, an entree, and a dessert when we have Italian.

We also have California Grill brunch, Jiko (dinner), Raglan Road (party time), Beaches (later dinner after Raglan, tipsy munchies), Yachtsman Steakhouse (dinner) and Hoop Dee Doo booked (this using DH's CM discount which for this is 50% off). :woohoo:

:thanks:

1: Nomad lounge. It's so yummy and the patio, omg, if it's nice weather, sit outside.
2: Hmmm well... I LOVE Skipper Canteen for the food, but as a Beauty and the Beast fan, I know I fell a bit in love with the dining room. To me, BOG dinner is great, but Lunch & Breakfast can't hold a candle food quality wise to Skipper Canteen. So I suppose the choice depends on if you care more about seeing inside BOG or food quality. I mean, BOG Lunch & Breakfast aren't terrible imo, it's just not great.
3: Homecomin'
4: I hardly ever eat Italian on vacation - so this one I'm no help on XD

1) Nomad. So relaxing. Great apps and drinks!
2) I prefer the food at Skipper Canteen, but if you want to see the inside of BOG , I would do that. We prefer BOG lunch over breakfast. It's a QS, so you may want to look for two, 1-person reservations around the same time. Once you are inside the restaurant, you can find a table together.
3) I love Boma, but if you've spent a lot of time at AKL, I would definitely consider heading over to DS to eat and look around.
4) Are you on a dining plan? If not, definitely Il Mulino over Trattoria.

DH and I will be having breakfast at Tusker Lounge on our AK day. Wondering in the evening if you would choose Yak & Yeti or Nomad Lounge for a light dinner? Unless you have a Landry Card to present upon arrival for seating priority, I'm not sure I'd risk last-minute cancelation (fee) at Yak & Yeti after over-eating breakfast at Tusker House. Besides, Nomad Lounge is a perfect place to nosh.

BoG dinner is my preference to time-of-day (to meet The Beast), but since you're going for lunch, then I recommend Skipper Canteen (because the food is fine and location, location, location). However, if you're going for the one-and-done at BoG for lunch (just to experience), then this is just as much reason to keep trying for this ressie.

My first preference at AKLodge is Sanaa for a daylight meal with the animals. Next on my list is Boma for breakfast (which we only do if staying at AKLodge). Jiko is our 'least-favorite' Signature (that is not Le Cellier); but I enjoy wine classes and know less than very little about South African wines. Since Homecomin' is part of your question - it was our favorite Disney Springs meal last trip (over Paddlefish & The Boathouse). So - to really answer your question - if you have the time to stroll Disney Springs before traveling home, sounds like a casual way to end your stay - Homecomin'. But, if going to Disney Springs is going to feel like a schlep - Boma buffet breakfast is very good too....but I really like fried chicken....

Lastly we both enjoy Italian. Would you choose Il Mulino or Trattoria al Forno for dinner? We typical share a pasta as an app, a salad, an entree, and a dessert when we have Italian. Il Mulino may be 'best Italian' at Disney; I always recommend Swan & Dolphin Signatures over Disney-run establishments.

:woohoo:
We stay at Bay Lake and eat at CA Grill each trip (for the convenience) - CA Grill brunch was amongst my favorite EVER (despite service issues). We would go to Jiko for convenience too if staying at AKLodge. Raglan Road & Beaches - enjoy! Yachtsman is fine, I prefer nearby Shula's (by far). Hoop Dee Doo is a guilty-pleasure for many families, but we still plan a big lunch before we go (and are planned to be there our next vacation).

:thanks:

1. Nomad Lounge sit onthe deck if you can.
2. Skipper Canteen - BoG is great to look at, not impreseed with the food after several tries
3. Boma
4. Il Mulino

Looks like a great trip. Have fun!

1. Nomad Lounge
2. BOG - if you've never been, its a must do at least once for me
3. Boma, however that depends on how much time you have at Disney Springs on your Raglan Road night. Disney Springs is so big now that I plan to visit twice during our trips.
4. Il Mulino

Thanks everyone! Il Mulino it is!

Thanks! I thought about BoG for dinner but we aren't planning on being in MK for dinner....not like I could get an ADR anyway. LOL! I wish I could just peak into BoG as do others I am sure.

Homecomin' looks so good.

Thank you! I did not realize that we find our own table at BoG. Thats a great idea.

That was my thinking about DS v Boma; we will have a lot of resort time.

We are not on the dining plan but we have DH's CM discount, DVC, and APs. As well as the Disney Visa.

Thank you! We do not have a Landry card and while I looked into it, its not a chain we frequent often. Nomad's menu looks really good.

Disney Springs won't be a schlep. We check out at 11 and our flight is at 6; I think MDE will arrive at 3 pm. which I think will give us enough time to get back to AKV for MDE. If not we may just Lyft/Uber to MCO as not to spend hours at the airport.

I am most looking forward to California Grill Brunch! We are doing that on our arrival day after a red-eye. I predict it'll be nap time by the pool after. LOL!

Thank you. We are really excited; haven't been in 6 years.

We have been to Boma and loved it but haven't been to Disney Springs since it was DTD. We have as much time as we need in Disney Springs on our Raglan Road afternoon other than a later night ADR at Beaches which I would be okay missing if necessary.
