NOLA for one night for 14th wedding anniversary

Need recommendations on where to stay in NOLA for wedding anniversary. Looking to spend about $150 for the night. Would like to stay in the French Quarter.

Nola can be very expensive during event weeks, most rooms can be in the $300.00 range. I usually stay in a Timeshare for 3-4 days at a time so I don't have too much experience with their Hotels. But last December I stayed at Wyndham Garden Hotel Baronne Plaza and it is a very clean modern hotel and is priced right. But it is a couple of streets off of the French Quarter.

I would try something like Priceline...there are lots of hotels on Canal st and St Charles-walking distance to Quarter

Last time I was there I stayed at the W French Quarter. It was very clean, close to everything I wanted to do and had a nice courtyard.

I live in baton rouge and go to nola frequently. It would be hard to be in the french quarter per se for that price but i would recommend the marriott or sheraton on canal street. I especially loved the hilton new orleans riverside. I usually priceline those rooms with a bid in the price range i want.
