Hi, I've read a few threads where someone mentioned the noise coming up from the lobby while they were staying in a tower room. For those of you who have stayed in a tower room, what was the noise like for you? Any feedback would be MUCH appreciated! ::yes::

I have stayed in a tower room several times and never noticed any Lobby noise. Our rooms were usually high up (not concierge).

On the 9th floor, I definitely heard the Chef Mickey's music anytime it was on. It starts at 7 am-noon and starts again at 5 pm ends at 10 pm. That being said, it did not bother us, because I am up at 7 am and I am usually not in the room at 10 pm at night.

I did not hear the monorail. I did not hear people from the 4th floor concourse.

We were on the 10th floor in the tower, and never heard any noise. We didn't even notice anything from Chef Mickey's. We loved staying at the CR.

Never noticed any noise in the rooms. But the decor' is pretty loud.;)

We had a room facing MK. Although we did not hear lobby noise, we heard trucks in the loading dock all night long backing up (beep, beep, beep). We switched resorts after two nights. The next time we stayed there it was on the bay lake side and it was much quieter.

Last May we had the last room on the hall way, bay side, close to Chef Mickeys... I think we were on the 10thish floor. In any event, we could hear Chef Mickeys in the morning. Sort of a muffled distant sound when they did the announcement and music. It wasn't bad at all. Given the wide variety of noise that you would encounter in any hotel (stomping feet, slamming doors, screaming neighbors, etc.,) the noise from being in the Tower is not that bad.... steve c

we were on the 12th floor and never heard any noise untill we opened our door and then we loved hearing it . the music at chef mickeys really reminds you that you are at disney. we loved looking over onto the concourse and seeing all the people waving their napkins and seeing the characters walking around. we loved the cr tower

We were on the 11th floor in the tower, facing MK, and never heard any noise. We loved the CR... :D

We were on the 7th floor, MK view, on the Chef Mickey's side. We definitely heard the Chef Mickey's music from inside the room with the door closed. It did not wake us and was not bothersome (in fact we liked it) but it was certainly quite audible. We could also hear the monorail rumble very faintly--again just audible, not bothersome.

We did not hear any "people" noise at all--no stomping feet, no conversation from the concourse or nearby rooms, etc.

Got back last night...10th Floor..Room 4640 (MK side)..I commented to my mother that I never heard any of the noise from CM...Great Stay!

We were on the 12th floor facing MK. The only noise we heard was the one night the wind was so bad it woke us up. It was howling and really windy. But, no noise from Chef Mickey's (until you opened the door) and we just loved the fact you could walk right on the monorail. Love that hotel!

We were on the 6th floor facing the MK and really heard nothing at all. We were directly off the elevators and it was surprisingly quiet. I would go back again.

We were just on the 7th floor, MK side, opposite end from Chef Mickey's. Did not hear a thing.
