I am looking more into the fligths and air lingues can be booked now, it would be 163 euro's pp for Barcelona to JFK and then since 2010 isn't out yet for kayak I put in the tuesday for this April and got $482.76 for 4 of us from JFK to Tamap.

I clicked on the calendar for April 2010, but the one-way airfare quote is for April 24, 2009. Airfares are usually not available to be booked until ~ 330 days before the flight. Notice also that the flight to Dublin leaves at 10:50 a.m. You might want to do a stopover there on your way home. :)

**Just saw this at Aer Lingus's site: Flights can be booked for travel up to 330 days after today's date.

well, it's been ok'd by the boss, so now a matter of booking - oh I guess I should ask samantha's school.

I will have to update my first Trans-atlantic cruise when I have more time - I do have some pictures but all in all I can say that I would do it again in a heartbeat. Now I just have to hope it all works out.

Do you have a trip report already??? I love to read it... :goodvibes

Ok - I'm really considering this cruise -- rate is still really good so I may just bite the bullet & join. Glad to see some familier & friendly faces!

As I'm sure you've noticed - I've been critical of DCL's pricing for their 2010 Europe cruises. However, I think the two Transatlantic cruises are very well priced, and deliver a lot of Disney bang for the buck. Although I'm interested in the eastbound TA and my birthday falls during it - I probably won't be booking this one. I told my two daughters I'd take them to Europe in 2010 - and the younger one will still be in college while this cruise takes place.

Hi Nancy - I personally agree w/ you about the Baltic prices - but I do :lovestruc DCL & this looks like this cruise would be the only way for me to get on to the Magic in 2010.

Of course - Jackie (ibouncetoo) is trying to talk me into the Barcelona to Dover cruise :rotfl:

You could do both Transatlantic cruises for the price of the Barcelona to Dover cruise - not including the airfare! On the other hand - if you do both TA cruises, you could book a Barcelona-home flight for April and a home-Barcelona flight for September. Then you book a roundtrip to Orlando in April and home in October! :)

I posted on the original thread, it's been a while.

:)

Here is our info:

Me- Camille
DH- Coco
DD- Victoria- 19 months (by our cruise)

We are traveling with friends:

Clyde
Gwyn
DS- Gavin- He will turn 4 during our cruise

Claudio
Lily
DD- Catalina- 30 months

We are booked on cat 9, but, we are thinking of changing cabins.

I am interested in doing the FE, but, I'll have to check with Gwyn and Lily to see if they are interested. This will be our second DCL cruise, unless I can convince DH to cruise in 2009. We were on the inagural Med in 2007 and had the best time of our lives. We are really looking forward to the TA with all those seadays to enjoy the Magic. This will be our daughter's first cruise and we are telling everyone that she is going to Europe in 2010 with Mickey!

:surfweb: Just checking in on the thread.

I'm on the road for a two week audit review of some of our West Virgina units. I'm in Parkersburg, WV tonight watching Forrest Gump. :happytv:

WHAT?!?!?!?!?!

You'll take the drugs and risk the seas?????

What type of cabin do WE WANT?:goodvibes :rotfl: :goodvibes :rotfl:

(This would be way cheaper than the UK/cruise option)

I think Jackie should just take the Magic both ways and backpack through Europe in between...

Don't think Jackie hasn't thought of that one... Right Jackie??? :hippie:

Don't worry... nan and I have it all worked out... We feed you RUM for the 6 days at sea and some kind of hang over remedy when we get to Europe... :thumbsup2

(By the way... those 6 days... while you are unconscious... Nan and I will be lounging in the Rainforest...)
