I am so over EVERYTHING. UGH. I am so annoyed over everything. What illness can I fake tomorrow so I can cancel on the inlaws? Everytime I try to be nice and make sure we get together with MIL, it backfires.

Man..I totally hear ya. Yeah, go chill out tonight, get it all off your mind. You don't need her getting you all fired up, it's not worth it. Unfortunately, our 1st meet with MIL and family since the birthday from hell in February will be next weekend. I SO do not want to go, but Blake has been doing a good job not making me go to every single event just because MIL whines to him about him being the only one not there, so I guess I owe him a visit.Right now I am more annoyed with Marc because he keeps saying "it's not that bad." Well he's been used to it for 28 years. I'm not. It's annoying.
She sent Marc an email today about a diet seminar. When just two months ago Marc told her that when she does things like that it is not helpful and it offends him. UGH. So he tells her tonight and he totally backs down when she says, "I wasn't trying to be offensive." To me, it doesn't matter if you weren't trying or not, somethings just come across that way. PLUS if you have to preface an email with "I hope this doesn't offend you, Marc" then chances are it's going to offend him. She said that to me during all of the wedding planning and it just gets me going now.
I just need to go to bed and get over my crankiness I think. It doesn't help that my ankles are so swollen I can barely walk.

Seriously Jen, it can't be much easier! Get a couple dozen eggs, boil them up (very important step!) Get a set of the plastic cups, you can reused them year after year and an egg dying kit, I personally think the most basic ones are best. Follow the directions on the box to mix up the dye and dip away! I got a really cute set last year after easter (I always buy them on clearance) that came with eyes and mouth stickers, the boys loved them. Most kits come with stickers, stands and egg wrappers. You can also write on the eggs with a white crayon before dipping then that part stays white after the dying.
Must be one of those MIL days -- is the moon full or something?

It's freaking April!
Ugghhh, well, I had a nice spell of a few days where I didn't sound like a broken record, but I just looked at the weather forecast and Friday we are getting another stupid storm system from the Rockies with the threat of severe storms. This one sounds a little more dire than before. AGGHHH!!! I am so over it.
They are coming over for dinner tomorrow night....wish me luck!
We are going over to my mom's for lunch tomorrow -- she is theming it -- an April in Paris luncheon -- Chelsea is beside herself with excitement.
Chelsea probably isn't quite into those... YET. Maybe you could take pictures to share with us? 
It's official. I want to be adopted. You guys do the most fun things. What is on the menu for an April in Paris luncheon? Will there be cute French waiters?
I doubt there will be cute French waiters, and I have no idea what my mom has planned for the menu. I guess we'll be surprised when we get there. I'll take my camera in case it's picture-worthy! Have you heard about the new store in Downtown Disney, Tren-D? It looks so cute with lots of unusual mickey stuff. I can't wait. CP- I think Chelsea might really like it!!

My mom was too funny when she called earlier this week -- she told me to make sure I wear "couture" -- which is so not something any of us have in our wardrobes -- she was joking, of course.
I am fine this morning -- as soon as the coffee I am drinking kicks in.

Love the fruit cocktail idea! You could even jazz it up by putting it in little dessert cups! You and I are very similar -- I would never have the guts to do that either, although I would want to do it.
I wish I did have the guts. I would love to see her stammer and come up with a response.
