Nobby's Gnomies... heading to WDW in April 2010

Do you want one with or without Chelsea?

I didn't know it was teacher appreciation week either.

Okay that's the funniest thing I have ever read all day! :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I try...and yes I found them and yes they smell like all dissecting animals should like "science" death as I like to call it!!!!

We are dissecting earthworms tomorrow should be great fun had by all involved LOL

I loved dissecting stuff in biology in high school. :thumbsup2

Cats? I couldn't do that. I'd cry.

I thought it would be hard, but it turned out to be really cool learning more about the anatomy of my cat!!

The only time I have ever been squeamish was when I went to an autopsy...at that point I knew I was never going to be a doctor and needed to make a new career choice.

:lmao: Yeah, I don't blame you. I've dissected frogs and such before but once we started getting into mammels I had a harder time. They seem more real to me for some reason. :confused3

Oh man, we had to discuss a cat in our Anatomy class in high school. It was VERY interesting, but very very smelly. Last semester, I had my class dissect Croaker, Oysters, Mussels, and Sea Anemones. I always loved Zoology! Good luck with your Earthworm dissection Jen!

And hope you are feeling better Jackie!!
And I completely missed it, but have a great time on vacation C!! :woohoo:

Well, goodness, y'all were busy today! I'll try to catch up (in random order):

YUCK on the dissection talk. I hated those science projects. :scared: But I'm sure you make it fun, Jen! :goodvibes

Paula - your new DISigns are AWESOME!!

LOVE the idea of a Bo design. I have a picture of him somewhere if you need it.

LL- don't let us or anyone make you feel badly about your post count! We love what you have to say! ::yes::

I will most assuredly have a variety of adult beverages while on vacation to toast my gnomies. Don't you worry your pretty heads about that! ;)

Speaking of my trip (for which I'm still not packed!), it looks like I may have a travel companion.

No... not sorta beau...

NOBBY!!!!!!!

Just look at what was waiting for me when I got home today! :yay:

I love this box. It's just like the one Jackie got her treats in. Do you buy the box at the post office? :confused3

Inside... along with plenty of styrofoam peanuts and bubblewrap... was Sir Nobby and his photo journal. The journal is a wonderful idea, LL! It's going to be so fun to see it fill up.

So Nobby is currently getting acquainted with Molly. He has expressed some concern that she has toys larger than him and that the majority of them have had holes chewed in them.

Molly is not looking to sure about this new "toy."

Nobby is feeling marginally better now that I have shown him where we're going on Saturday.

And I have assured him that I will not drink ALL the tequila. The Nobb likes to drink... who knew? :confused3 :rotfl:

Nevertheless, he is probably wondering where the heck Julez sent him and how quickly he can leave. Speaking of which... where is his next destination? Just wondering if I have to send him somewhere quickly when I get back? :upsidedow

Awwww!! Molly & Nobby look so cute together!! :lovestruc

I believe Jess has him next. I'm not sure when she needs him.

I didn't think you were taking Nobby, I am so glad he is going with you!! :goodvibes

I wasn't planning to but apparently he got into some trouble in the Julez household. Details are fuzzy... he doesn't want to talk about it. :rolleyes1

I get him for the weekend of April 18th (just found out the official date), not sure if there's another scheduled trip beforehand. Take your time with him C, I'm sure with all those planned drinks and sun, he might need a vacation from his vacation when you return ;)

PM me your address when you have a chance so I can be sure to send him on his way in a timely fashion. Oy! Now he's asking why I'm anxious to get rid of him. Silly gnome... can't make up his mind. Hope you know what you're getting into! :upsidedow

In my Zoology class we do earthworms, grasshoppers (if I can find them), perch, finches, turtles, frogs, rats, and cats. LOL..its is great fun! I love dissecting!

I loved dissecting too. I got a reward in sophmore biology (and my teacher said I should become a surgeon) because I was able to remove the earthworms nervous system completely in tact!! Yep that would be my nerd claim to fame right there LOL!!!:rotfl2:

C I LOVE the pics of Molly and Nobby!! Buddy would have eaten poor Nobby's hat if he'd have been that close:rotfl:

Sorry I have been MIA all weekend---more Birthday March Madness craziness and dealing with a cold and laryngitis kept me from you all!!!! SO SAD!!!

Stacy---so sorry to hear about your cousin! She is in my prayers---I lost a little angel the year before I had Megan and it is so devastating---especially when others try to act/pretend as if nothing has just happened. Give her a hug for me!

Oh Jen.....:hug:I'm so sorry for your loss...Your prayers are deeply appreciated. We're pretty sure they're going to do a small service next week so the life will be honored. I will be thinking of your angel as well.

Btw - I hope you start to feel better!

Oh Jen!!!!!:scared1: That was the first (and last!) dissection I ever did in highschool....once you throw up in the classroom you get to write papers instead!:rolleyes1 Ewww! All this black stuff came pouring out of the worm and....blech....I still don't know what it was! But I hope you guys have fun!

C- I love the pics of Molly and Nobby! You should also give him a pre-briefing on developing a love of French Waiters!;) Oh I hope that gnome can handle his liquor! (I'm just picturing him wandering around like Jack Sparrow!:upsidedow )
