No Wii for me =( UPDATE pg3

I cant get a Wii either and DBil is a freakin manager of a EBgames! I just want to play bowling. How sad is that, I want to spend all this money to bowl in my living room. Dh is super excited that I want one. But I think we are going to wait till like oh March to get the system, by then we should hopefully be able to get all the important parts we need. Is it me or is there more buzz over the Wii than PS3? We have PS2 but have no desire to get the new one.

I haven't been playing my Wii for the last couple days, I have found a new addiction....

I'm addicted to Viva Pinata on XBOX 360 (dh's birthday present). Dh was the one who wanted the game, but now he's sorry he showed it to me .

There is a notice on the Futureshop web-site that says they are getting more Wii's in the next week and another shipment the week of Dec. 18th. Good luck everyone who's looking.

Decided to jump off the Wii train. I was getting carried away. The kids have three game systems already and we are off to Disney in May. All that and the thought of standing outside at 5:00am in minus 25C this morning, I came to my senses and decided enough was enough. I'll get the boys a few more games for their existing systems and be done with it. Maybe next year!

Thanks, i've been using console watch for a few days already. I seem to keep getting e-robbed on the TRU site. It slows down to a snails pace and someone steals my wii right out of my cart. HMPF. I missed out at BB and FS yesterday and zellers this morning too =-(

ARRRRGGHH! Best Buy had them online yesterday and when I was trying to check out, it kept saying - sorry only 1 per family or something like that. I NEVER ordered one before. Of course, it sold out quickly.

For those still looking for Wii's, don't give up. I was able to get one at Wal-Mart today. I just got there at the right time - they were sold out in about 5 minutes. EB Games and Superstore are expecting more before Christmas. Zellers is also supposed to be getting more. They are holding their's for Saturday morning, so if you can be at Zellers when they open, you may get lucky. Good luck everyone.

The Wii's are $280. The person who mentioned $600 may have been thinking of a PS3 or a Wii Bundle that comes with several games.

My ds wanted to buy one so last Fri. night he and 2 friends sat outside of Toys R Us from Fri. night until they opened on Sat. He was # 7 and the store had 28 of them. It really is a lot of fun but now it can be a problem though because the TV is in the livingroom and that is what is used for the Wii. That means I am tryng to find another place to go. Oh the bowling is a lot of fun.

I finally managed to snag one from bestbuy online today. I can't wait for it to come in the mail!

I guess I should mention that by the time i finally managed to order the console I was already the proud owner of 3 wi-motes, 3 nunchucks, zelda and trauma centre.

Congrats!!! I have to admit I haven't been playing mine that much. I have been addicted to Viva Pinata on XBOX 360. I bought it for dh and now I have taken over the console and game DH is at level 30 and I am at 56, (shows how much I let him play, lol)
