I just had a new tub and surround walls installed and the border around the tub is very narrow so a shower shelf does not fix.
Any ideas?

We have a plastic bin (with Microban) with suction cups on it, that we stick to the shower surface to keep shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc in. I run it through the dishwasher once a week or so anyway.

We have a 3 chamber, liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner dispenser in both of our showers, the chamber is removable with a base that attaches to the wall. Very convenient, we found them at our local Home Depot.

I can't imagine suction cups being able to hold shampoo bottles!

I have a three layer shower shelf with three places to hold bottles. It hangs off the shower head

I'm sorry, I don't think I explained myself well. It's a plastic storage, with 4 BIG suction cups on the back of it. The suction cups hold the bin, the shampoo goes into the bin.

Kind of like the rectangular bin in this picture

If you have a shower enclosure (rather than just rod/curtains), this handy gizmo also has towel hooks for the outside. Organize-it

We have that too, its great! I can not stand the look of shampoo or conditioner bottles in the tub so when I saw that I bought it right away!

we have the ones that hook over the shower head. It holds everything and isn't that expensive to purchase. I think I got mine at target.

They make caddy's that hang over the shoer head that will hold lots of things. They even come in shapes. I have seen them shaped like a fish and duck before.

If you're thinking of the suction cup bins like someone said, I would suggest a wire one rather than plastic. I have both and the plastic one gets all yucky in the bottom because not all the water drains out. There are a couple of holes in the bottom for drainage, but it doesn't drain as well as the wire. They both hold up fine though and I have a big bottle of shampoo in one of them. They're both very strong.

When we moved here, we realized the shower stalls are INCREDIBLY small (forget showering with a friend...you are lucky to get your whole body in). Putting up a rack would have been impossible, so we opted for one of those soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers as already mentioned. The ones we have are held to the wall with double sided sticky tape. Works great!
