We were all set to be in the World 4-11 Dec. We had 5mins2disney's Townhome #1 reserved and were very much looking forward to our first WH stay in what I believe would have been a great townhome. Then we had to cancel. :sad1:

The reason we had to cancel though is because my daughter is due to have my first grandchild on Dec 8. :cloud9: She and her husband have been trying  for quite some time so it was a big surprise. I can't think of a better reason to have to miss WDW.

Oh, by the way, it's a boy :woohoo:

"Bummer!" and "Congratulations!" all in the same reply!

That really is great news, though!:goodvibes

I think the only thing better than planning a trip to Disney for yourself....would be planning to take the grandkids to Disney. Lucky you! :cool1:

So will that same Townhouse be available in say 2 years? Book it now, and then calendar and start planning for your ADR's....they're only 18 months away you know! :rotfl2:

ConnieB, Good idea. I should have my pick of times and places.

Thanks LegoMom3.

Delayed a few years until you take your new grandchild and enjoy his/her amazement together..

Cheers

Wow that is wonderful, I guess you can plan your next trip and maybe bring him for his first trip to the world.

Congrats. Can she just give birth at Disney though? LOL JK. I joke about that for myself quite often. If my seasonal pass was on right now I would walk around epcot in circles till I went into labor at this point. They would just send me by ambulance to my correct hospital though. SIGH.

We're already thinking about Dec 08 and looking for info on how a trip to WDW with a one year old is.

We brought our boys when the youngest was 13 months and it was FABULOUS. We could not believe how much he got out of it, and the pictures are some of our favorites of him! Ask this question on the Families board and you will get overwhelmingly positive responses.

Happy planning!

Congratulations

Can't think of a better reason for having to cancel :goodvibes Just think of all the future trips with a little one :yay:
