No WBI yet?

I applied late on Friday, the 6th after 9 o'clock and i did not recieve an email about the web interview only the thank you for applying email. The Thank you for applying email was different than one i previously received when i applied for the fall cp. On my dashboard it says that i have submitted my application but i am worried that since i did not get my WBI right away, that could i have done something wrong on my application? Does anyone think its worth it to call Disney on monday to see if adding a couple of changes i wanted to make to my application to see if that would help me? I am only worried because i know people who got their email for the WBI hours after applying, which is what happened when i previously applied.

Did you apply for Fall 13 and pass the WBI? It's my understanding that if you have taken the WBI and passed within 6 months, you don't have to retake it.
You may want to look into that possibility.

Hey thanks for replying, I applied at the begging of February so on the date that I applied this time it would've been just under 7 months. So I wasn't sure if they completely cut off the drop date at 6 months or if it could go over a bit. But hopefully that could be why! I wondered about that but I wasn't sure about the going over six months with a couple of days would mess up the web interview part of the app. Hopefully you are right though because i did pass the WBI then it was just the phone interview that didn't go so good.

I've heard that they don't send stuff out on weekends, so that could possibly be why you haven't gotten the email for the WBI

My boyfriend brought up that too, I figured it was a type of automated response from them since it was all online. Thank you though! I had a hard time finding things online about if they sent stuff on the weekends, so that could very well be it.

My daughter is in the same boat. She applied at like dinner time on Friday and hasn't gotten the wbi email yet. She's pretty worried cuz her sister got hers within minutes of completing her application last fall. I told her hopefully they don't send them on the weekends. But I saw someone else say that they had so who knows. Good luck & I hope they come through soon

My D and my S both applied and got wbi email in 3 hours. One is sophomore the other a junior. For those who are waiting, what year are you?

This is almost exactly like my email, they mention the November 15th date in it. I hadn't heard about the possibility of being pended (I'm not sure if i should even call this that) before doing the phone interview. But thank you for letting me know this!

I am just starting my sophomore year, but i believe i need to call Disney when casting opens to make sure i updated that in my application.

I believe what Joeywarhorse said above may be correct, my email this time was a lot longer than the Thank you for applying email i got in the spring. It mentions that "due to the high volume of applications and limited number of opportunities available, not all applicants will move forward in the interviewing process. I will be calling them on Monday to insure that i updated my application correctly as i used the same account that i previously used so it saved my old App. Hopefully we find out more! Good luck to your daughter I hope they contact her soon!

I got my WBI email a couple of hours after I finished my app on the 5th, and I just had my phone interview today. My interviewer told me my decision could be emailed to me as early as tomorrow, but not to be worried if it took as many as 2-3 weeks before hearing anything. I applied for California though so it may be different than the process for Florida.

If you use GMail - check your junk mail folder - specifically your "Promotions" folder, I think it's called. My daughter has has several Disney emails diverted. Of course, you could always log in and check your dashboard. There's a link there to every email they've sent you.
