We want to try the No Way Jose at Beaches N Cream. Do you have to have a reservation or can you just order it at the counter? I've never been there so I don't know what it's like. TIA!

Reservations are not available at Beaches & Cream. You can get ice cream whenever you want. I think they open at 11am.

It is not available at the take out window.Beaches and Cream is a TS restaurant that does not take ressies and because of its size (small) they are frequently waits for a table.

If you are only planning to get ice cream, you might want to ask for "first seats available" when you check in. Counter seats usually free up quickest (depending on how many seats you need) & they are fine to enjoy ice cream.

I got one at the takeout window once.

Had to be a couple of years ago so maybe that's changed.

I wouldn't get it without going inside now - you can't use DDE at the takeout.

Correct. The 'official' writing on the take-out menu doesn't allow for specialty items (Kitchen Sink, No Way Jose, etc...). I have gotten one there in the past though, probably about 2 years ago, when they were not very busy. I was pleasantly surprised.

Going with the above post - No Way Jose wasn't on the takeout menu, but when they wouldn't seat me (they said they had NO seating available, even for one person, and said not to even bother waiting) I went over and asked the carryout for one, and they gave me one (in a plastic bowl).

But as noted, that was about two years ago.

Sorry to hijack a little bit, but what's the No Way Jose... I have seen pics of the Kitchen Sink, but a search for "No Way Jose" came up empty.... can someone direct me to a picture of it or give me an idea what we are talking about.... sound like my kind of thing. Was planning on attacking the Kitchen Sink this trip, but now I may have something else to consider.... Thanks.

Ok... internet search to the AllEars menu gave me this....

No Way Jose - a peanut butter and hot fudge delight with chocolate and vanilla ice cream, peanut butter and chocolate morsels, whipped cream and a cherry $7.99

I got the idea from the above discussion that it was somehow in the league of the kitchen sink in terms of size, but apparently not. It does sound good though.

It may not be the kitchen sink but it is still pretty large. My mother in law got one from the takeout window as well but it was in 2003 so I'm not sure if that still applies. Probably wouldn't hurt to ask though.

Not my pic-someone on here had it once.

Gosh, I may have to switch resorts :) I guess the next pertinent question is how long does it take to walk to Beaches and Cream from EPCOT because apparently I'll have to do so more than once!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! Thanks for the picture. Gotta try the Kitchen Sink, but No Way Jose looks like a winner too. Burgers and ice cream, my son will have found his paradise.... I think I may have as well.

Thanks for the replies and the picture.

That looks SOOOO GOOD!!! I've seen pics of the Kitchen Sink and I can pass on that, but I don't know about the No Way Jose. Might have to find time to make it over there. Thanks OP for this thread. I've heard of the No Way Jose before but knew nothing about it.

Thanks for all the replies! We'll be exploring BW our first day there and if we can't get it at the take out window we'll try to get a counter seat. No big deal if it doesn't work out. We always have Ghirardellis in DTD to fall back on!:)

I'm glad you told me that. They must have changed over the years (as so many places do). Like others, I got one as take out in 2003, and just assumed it was still the same.

Last year the only thing at the takeout window was like scoops of ice cream or ice cream bars,no specialty sundaes.I remember because the wait was well over an hour and I was by myself and all I wanted was the no way jose, and they told me I had to wait for a table or counter space to open up.

Beaches and Cream, and the No Way Jose in particular, are definitely worth the trip! The No Way Jose is beyond excellent, and to be honest, I think their burgers are AMAZING. My recommendation is to go at an "off" time. We tried this with 4 people. Got there for an early dinner at around 4:15 and were seated right away. I was also told that an early lunchtime (say around 11:00 or 11:30) is a great time to visit. Good luck and happy eating!!!
