No Volcano Bay early entry August/September

Have seen on another forum and twitter that EE for Volcano Bay will not be available for August or September.

Really hoping that this changes as we were looking forward to getting there early as it sounded like you could get quite a few rides done in that hour.

I'm right with you. We'll be there Aug 27-Sep 1st hoping this changes.

Whose twitter? Something official or a random person? There is no EE listed for any of the parks yet past July, but that doesn't mean it will not happen.

Lot's of tweets about it on Universals official twitter and the EE's are available past July on the Universal app so does seem fairly official, but of course it could change again.

Actually checking their twitter again they have now updated their response to saying "Hi again! Just to update you, we just received word that Volcano Bay will be participating in Early Park Admission for the month of August. I apologize for any confusion!"

So it could well have been a mistake on their app causing people start complaining on twitter(although their original replies to people seemed to confirm EE had been removed) or they changed their minds. I suspect it is probably the first, but either way I am just happy knowing that EE is going to be available.

I just got notification from Touring Plans that VB also has EE for September (at least for our dates in middle of month)

One of the major perks of staying onsite at a non-deluxe hotel is early admission. It is unlikely that it gets cancelled ever.

And the website is updated today as well with August EE times for all 3 parks. (I'm old and don't use twitter, don't use the Universal app much either)

Website says 7:30 am EPA for Volcano Bay for August 1-18, but regular admission is 9 am. Will one of those probably change, or does that seem right? Seems like EPA is almost always one hour, right?

Also, for VB, the Universal site lists a few water slides that are open for EPA. So I understand the other slides (Taniwha, Maku Puihi and Punga Racers) will be closed during EPA. But are any of the rivers, water play areas, and waturi beach also open during EPA?
