No Visa credit for 2006?

Is there no Disney Visa stateroom credit for bookings in 2006? I read the offer and it said through the end of 2005. I was planning to use the visa to book and hate to miss out on a credit.

Hopefully they will offer it again for 2006....I originally booked our cruise in 2004 and the promo only went to the end of the year. Early in 2005 they extended the promo to the end of 2005 and I just recently contacted our TA and she added the promo credit to our ressie.....we sail in August of 2005....so make your ressie now and then if the promo comes out for 2006 you can apply it then...just make sure you deposit and pay in full with your Disney Visa.

I did get the $50 stateroom credit for using my Disney Visa for a 2006 booking...I think you just have to book the cruise during 2005, not necessarily sail in 2005.

You might want to double check on your stateroom credit for your 2006 cruise. Just checked Disney Visa website here's what it said:

Offer valid for most sailings through 12/30/05.

As I understand it, that means you need be on a valid cruise during 2005, not just book it during 2005.

It also says for new bookings only, but we booked our cruise in 2004 and when Disney Visa came out with the $50 stateroom credit for 2005 cruises, out TA just had it applied . We just have to be sure to use our Disney Visa to pay the balance next month.

Just a reminder to check with Guest Services BEFORE the last day of your cruise to be sure your credit was applied. I was on the 4/14 Wonder and didn't check until I received my statement under the door on the last morning and saw that it wasn't there. I stopped at Guest Services and it was too early for them to call reservations to correct it. I'm trying to fix it through my TA. My friend that took her family on the same cruise told me today that she hadn't received it either, so now she'll try to get her TA to take care of it for her too.

Usually you cannot "stack" stateroom credits .. so you have to pick between the Visa credit and the DU stateroom credit.

Thanks, I will double check with my TA, but, this is the exact email quote from her after I heard about the promo and asked her if we could take advantage of it...
"I was able to rebook, and we just transferred your deposit of $800 over. The new confirmation number is 22*****7, and you do have the $50 onboard credit now for your stateroom."
We did this "rebooking in January, just a week or so after the initial booking to take advantage of the just announced (at the time) extension of the promo.
