No Villas near Universal???

Are there any condo or villa communities near Universal Studios? I am looking for a suite with a full kitchen, preferrably 3 bedroom for this summer. I've seen a few in my price range in Windsor Palms and Windsor Hills, but I'd really like to be closer to Universal. From the maps I see on the villa websites, there don't seem to be any communities in that area. Is that right?

We're planning on a Universal/Seaworld vacation this summer and NOT doing Disney. I don't want to torture myself by driving right by the entrance every day going to another park!!

I know the Hilton Grand Vacation Club is closer to Universal or Seaworld, but it seems to be much more expensive that getting a condo or townhouse, or even some pool homes.

Also, anyone stayed in Venetian Bay Resorts? Did you like it? What was the drive time to Universal and Seaworld? Do you have to drive by WDW to get to Universal or SW?

The reason is that the counties have to allow short term rentals and they are mainly in Polk Osceola and Lake .You need to look at the communites as far east of Disney as you can get to be close really .

Would area 3 be the closest to Universal??
It says the map is not drawn to scale, but it almost seems like communities next to WDW would be closer to Universal than being to the east. But, I am not familiar with the area or traffic patterns.
