No VA dis scrap meet

If anyone would like to meet at Recollections for a crop on July 15th just sign up through the store. We'd love to meet with everyone and get faces to names . The crops are only $10 and include dinner. Maggie and I are planning on being there, hope you can join us!

I am soo jeasous, the 17th is my birthday. We were going to go, but I didn't want our first Disneyland trip to be when the parked was so packed. Have fun!!

I love their workshop!! I'll try to make it too. I went to the first couple crops, and I just cancelled on tomorrow night, because I am sick.

It's so wonderful (and sometimes, so dangerous) to work **in** the store. I've never been a crop person, but I really enjoy it.

When she pulled out the book to add me there were only the three of us listed. I might end up bringing DS so he can just walk over to BAM to pick up the Harry Potter book.

Wish I could come If it was the weekend before or the weekend after I would be there. If it was the weekend after I would have new pictures to work on

I actually won a free crop for a bunch of people which I have to figure out when to have it... probably won't be for a couple months... but I will invite y'all when I do have it ^_^

A friend, just asked me the same thing.. here's what I told her:

Chocolate, whatever you want to work on and chocolate. I am making a recipe book for 15 people (Why did I ever start this?) and so I have a page (well, 15 of them to assemble) all the pieces are done, I just have to stick everything together. If you actually want to get any work done.. layout a few photos, the paper and embellies put them together in a folder. Make a few sets and then you will have a few things to work on.

They only provide you with space, computers and die machines. You need to bring (or buy) just about everything else. Paper trimmer, pens, adhesive etc. They don't sell chocolate though, so bring your own or stop at the Target on your way in

You can print in 12x12 there... I can't remember if they have photoshop or not... but they do have card readers so you can put stuff on a memory stick and bring it with you to print.

Also.. Costco now has upload and print in an hour (for 4x6, next day for larger) so you can upload your photos in the afternoon and pick them up at the costco across the street on your way over to the store! ..and it's cheaper than if you took them into the store (17 cents online and 19 cents in store) cool, eh?
